Jason: The Origin (Book 1)

We spent a few more days there, Jason learning how to use his new powers. I trained him. Once he was ready we went back home. "I miss this place" He said "Then let's stay here for a while" I offered "As long as you're there, anywhere is home" Jason told me, making me blush.

Jason pulled out his phone and played a song on the speakers he installed. "This is a new release, so I may be a bit risky but may I have this dance?" Jason asked and offered me his hand. I took it and he led me to the dance floor. Like always he sang at the chorus

I kissed Jason and led him to the couch, laying down, making out with Jason, I didn't need to worry about my strength anymore, since Jason had the same powers. Jason and I made out for I don't know how long, eventually we were both out of breath. "I love you" Jason said "I love you" I said back.

Jason Pov

I woke up the next morning with Kara leaning against my shoulder. We fell asleep on the couch last night after watching Netflix. My lips still tasted like Kara's still. Man, I really love her. I wanted to surprise her so I layed Kara's head against the back of the couch and placed a blanket over her before I got up to make her breakfast in... couch. I brewed coffee, made bacon and eggs and warmed up some tortillas, melting cheese on them and then putting the bacon and eggs on the tortillas, adding cheese. I put the tacos on a tray with the coffee and put them on the table in front of Kara. I ran and got flowers, and put a note "I made breakfast, enjoy my Girl of Steel." I signed it as 'Your Scarlet Speedster' and made myself breakfast. I know my injury must have scared her half to death, so I let her sleep. What I wasn't looking forward to was convincing Kara to let me go after Zoom again, let alone convincing her to let me do it alone. "Ooh yummy," Kara said. She must have found the breakfast I made. "Good morning Girl of steel" I said bringing my coffee and breakfast tacos to sit on the floor across from her

"Tacos for breakfast"
"Very yummy tacos"
"Why thank you"
"Your welcome"
"Are you okay, really"
"What do you mean"
"I died-"
"Don't say that"
"I did, I died, and yes it hurt, but all through it, I was thinking of you. Because I didn't know what would happen to you, how much hurt YOU felt. I'm worried about you Kara, that can't have been a good experience. I know you feel guilty, but don't, I told you to stay here. So please, whatever you do, do not blame yourself."

Kara was visibly uncomfortable while I talked. There was water in her eyes. I stood up and sat next to her, wrapping my arms around Kara.

"Kara, I'm okay, but I need to know you are. And if you aren't, how can I make it better?"
"Hold me, please, and never let go"
"I don't plan to, not anytime soon"

I held Kara tight, never wanting to let go, I heard Kara cry, and it broke my heart, I hated to see her sad, and I hated that I had something to do with it. I held Kara until she finished crying, even after.

"Kara?"
"Yeah?"
"Do you want me to stay or go, I want to stay with you, but if you want me to i'll go"
"Please stay"
"Okay"

Kara buried her head into my neck, I wanted to make her smile, I was trying to think of a joke but nothing came to me.

"Should I put on some music, or the tv, or something"
"TV would be nice, but we are watching a romantic movie."
"Okay, one sec"

I used my superspeed to run and get Kara a tub of chocolate ice cream, I know how she can get, and ice cream is her favorite comfort food. I ran back and grabbed two spoons and a blanket for us. "You are my most favorite person" Kara said, grabbing the ice cream "I'd hope so, girl of steel" I said and sat down, putting the blanket over us and handing Kara a spoon. "I've actually been wanting to watch this with you, There's two movies in the series. It okay?" I asked Kara, clicking on a movie called 'The Kissing Booth' Kara nodded and I hit play. We both watched the movie, eating icecream and enjoying each other's company. We finished the icecream off and I got up to throw the trash away and put the spoons up. I washed my hands and then I went to go sit back down. I put my arm around Kara and we finished the movie "Wanna watch the second one?" I asked "Yeah, I actually liked it" Kara said, I could tell she was feeling better. We put on the second movie, I looked over at Kara and smiled, she looked over and smiled too, then turned back towards the movie, me doing the same.
