Christmas Part Two

    Eventually I opened my gift. It was a wallet, which I already knew. It had a supergirl logo with a lightning bolt tucked into the 'S'. I opened it and there was a wallet sized picture of my dad, and a few of me and Kara. One we kissed, the other we cuddled, and the last we looked into the sunset. "I love it, it's amazing" I said and I kissed Kara. 

"We have a Christmas party tonight. Alex, Maggie, John, Winn, and James are coming. I also invited one of my friends I want you to meet"
"Is her name Lena Luthor?"
"Yes, how'd you know?"
"I saw her yesterday, she is an old friend from highschool. Me, her and Bruce were the best of friends."
"Why did you go see her"
"To invite her to my dad's funeral."
"Oh, Well I'm gonna get ready. I have something for you to wear"
"Is it a supergirl Sweater"
"Yup, and I'm wearing a Flash one"
"Alright"

    Me and Kara got dressed. I went back out to the living room and me and Kara used our speed to get set up. It finished fast. Earlier in my room, I put the ring in the small pocket of my jeans. After a bit everyone arrived. The people I hadn't seen in a while gave me their condolences. I thanked them and we all talked. Alex pulled me aside

"Why isn't she wearing it? She says no?"
"Haven't done it yet, I will tonight"
"Okay, good luck"
"Hope I won't need it"

    Alex went over to Maggie and we all hung out. After a bit we traded gifts. Kara got Alex and Maggie matching gun holsters. I got John a shirt of his favorite cookie. Kara got James a new camera and I got Winn a Han Solo nerf gun. Kara also got Lena a bottle of wine. Alex and Maggie got me a new and expensive knife. They gave Kara a blanket that had a photo of me and Kara. John got me a DEO access card, and one for Kara so we could access everything easier. James got me an action figure of the flash, and a supergirl one for Kara. Lena got me a framed photo of me, her and my dad. She got Kara a shirt. Winn gave Kara a police tracker so she could hear crimes. Winn got me all the Star Wars movies on DVD since I was watching them on a streaming service, and he put a collapsible shield into my suit, impervious to things from pebbles to bullets to heat vision and fire.

    We all exchanged and thanked each other for gifts and talked. Eventually people left, leaving me and Kara. I used my speed to clean up and then I asked Kara something "I finished my song, you wanna hear it?" I asked and Kara nodded. I played it on the speakers and grabbed Kara's hand to dance with her. I sang the song to her. It was called 'Running Home to You'.

When the last few seconds of the song played I reached into my pocket and grabbed the ring. I kneeled down. Kara put her hands over her mouth "Will you marry me?" I asked. I hid it but on the inside I was freaking out, I was nervous, happy, feeling too many emotions to list. "Yes, Yes. I will marry you" Kara said happily. She was smiling from ear to ear. I put the ring on her finger. She looked at it "Is this?" She asked "A replica of your mother's ring. Thank you Clark" I said. "I love you," Kara said. I kissed her. She put her legs around my waist, still kissing me. I walked her to the bedroom. Shutting the door.
