She saw him limp

"Is he dead?"
"No, just unconscious"
"Are you okay Jason?"
"Put him in lock up, Cisco should have given you metahuman power dampeners. Put them in his cell and he can't use his speed."

I dodged her question and ran back for my dad. I came back to the DEO and Kara was there. She saw my dad in my arms. "Oh Jason" She said sad. I put my dad on a medical table. He was already dead. I ran off, ran to the middle of nowhere and pulled off my mask "Aaaaaahhhh" I needed to scream. I just screamed, letting my bottled up emotions out, but only for a second. I collapsed to my knees and silently cried. Too much has happened these last few months. Kara arrived there. She got on her knees too and hugged me. I leaned into her and cried. I had lost my mom when I was 11, and now I lost my dad too.

"I wanna kill him"
"No one deserves to die"
"He does"
"If you kill Zoom your no better than he is, the bad guys win if you stoop to their level"

I knew Kara was right, but I was so angry. I didn't know what to do, I just needed to hit something, make someone bleed. I needed to do something to get rid of the anger I felt, before it consumed me.

"I'm going to Gotham tomorrow. I just need to get away for a day or two"
"Okay"
"I asked Alex to stay with you, dont worry about me, i'll be with Batman"
"I'll always worry about you"
"I know"
"We're gonna give your dad a nice funeral okay?"
"Okay"
"Do you wanna tell your mom"
"He's already with her."
"How do you mean?"
"My mom was murdered in front of me when I was eleven. I already caught the killer. My dad was the last person I had left. Now it's just me and you"
"I'm so sorry Jason, I didnt know. Why didn't you tell me?"
"I don't like to talk about it. Too many bad memories, too many birthdays and Christmas' without her. I mean, my mom was the reason I became a detective, to catch my mom's killer and free my dad. He was imprisoned for her murder"
"I know what it's like Jason. My parents died too when Krypton exploded. It changes you, but you need to lean on those around you, you will get through this. And no matter what, You have me"
"I know, and I love you for it"
"I love you too, so are you ready to get back home?"
"No...but I have to go back. So let's go"

I sped home and Kara flew. I still prefer to run. But I fly when I need to. I went back to the DEO. Kara was there too. I walked up to my dad. "I'm sorry. I couldn't save you, You didn't deserve this." I said. I waited for my dad to tell me he forgave me, that everything was gonna be okay. But he never did. I went to talk to Zoom. He took off his mask when I came in, I recognized him as someone I used to know.
