once she was gone I grabbed a drink from the fridge and sat next to Jason. He was customizing one of his guns.

"Watcha doing?"
"Customizing one of my guns"
"What is it"
"It's called a DMR, it's very overpowered but I can't unlock a lot of attachments for it since I keep getting killed. I mean look at my KD its a point two five, it used to be a four"
"What's a KD?"
"Kill death ratio, how many people you kill before you die averaged. A four means you get, on average four kills per every death so say I got 16 kills in a game and 4 deaths. Now it's a .25 which means, say that I got 4 kills in a game and 16 deaths."
"I'm sorry, do you want to keep playing or watch Riverdale?"
"Riverdale. You can use my controller to go there, the Xbox has my account hooked up though."
"Why don't you just use my Netflix?"
"No I couldn't"
"You can, the only other person on it is Alex, besides you wouldn't have to pay for netflix"
"Okay thanks"
"Your welcome, ill sign in on mine and make you an account"
"Okay, i'm gonna go get a drink and change outta my jeans"
"Okay"

Jason Pov

I went to my room.and changed into shorts and a t-shirt. I put my jacket up and brought my new hangers and sheets into my room. I was getting a drink from the fridge when Kara asked me a question "What do you want for your profile pic?" She asked "Five from umbrella academy" I told her "Which one is five?" she asked i was surprised she hadn't watched umbrella academy "The kid" I responded and grabbed a soda from the fridge and sat next to her covering both of us under the blanket. Our legs were touching again. I almost blushed if I didn't have control over my emotions from being a detective. Kara finished and I put a few things on my list. "We are watching umbrella academy after Riverdale." I told Kara and she played season two. I put my arm around her again and I could tell she was blushing. We watched in silence, I mostly watched Kara for her reactions. After we saw into the eyes of the black hood I paused it.

"Initial thought, who do you think is the guy who shot fred?"
"I don't know, maybe, uh, Sheriff Keller. Is that him"
"I don't know, we'll see"

Kara just smiled and she leaned into my shoulder. We watched a bit and she nuzzled her head into my shoulder everytime it got to a bloody part. She would ask me when It's over and then she would look up. I thought it was cute. I thought all of Kara was cute. Eventually we both went to bed. I couldn't stop thinking of Kara that night. She was the last thing I thought of when I went to bed.

I woke up the next morning and Kara was in the shower. I went to my room and got out the clothes I was gonna wear. It was a pair of jeans and a Blue button up. I had my vans too. Eventually Kara got out of the shower and I went in, I waited a few minutes after I heard the water stop to be sure Kara was in her room. I heard her door shut and then I went to the shower. I finished up and wrapped the towel around my waist headed for my room. I made it safely inside and got dressed. I went into the main room and Kara was there putting things in her purse. I got my backpack and put some pens and my laptop in there, and my supersuit ring on my finger. Kara saw me when I walked out of my room "Good morning Jason" Kara said "Good morning... Wow you look beautiful" I said and Kara blushed, we walked to noonan's and Kara paid for coffee. "Who is the third for?" I asked "Ms. Grant '' Kara said "Ah, you're the assistant, right? '' I said and we talked until we reached Catco. We were there for a few minutes, Kara showed me my desk and I set my stuff down. I hadn't gotten decorations for it yet. Ms. Grant came in, she walked into the office and Kara or 'Ker-ah' as Kat called Kara, gave her her coffee. They talked for a bit and then Kara introduced me to her friends. I already knew James from dinner so I introduced myself to Winn "Hey, I'm Jason, Kara's new roommate" I said and he asked Kara "So this is your roommate Kara?" Kara replied Yes and I got to know Winn a bit. I could already tell he had a crush on Kara and so did James. I had talked to Winn about Star Wars for a bit when Kara said it was time for the tour. She showed me around, showing me James's office and the lounge, and the room where I could get coffee and snacks from the vending machines. She showed me around a bit more and then I got my stuff set up. There were the basics but I wanted to upgrade my keyboard and mouse so I wrote that on a notepad. I spent the first half of the day getting all my stuff in order (Including getting a few games like minecraft) and then I heard on one of the tvs that there was a bank robbery happening. I saw Kara when I went to look at the tv and once I looked away she wasn't there. I didn't see her leave either. On the news it showed that Supergirl arrived not a minute after Kara left. She wasn't in Ms. Grant's office either. I thought this was weird, especially regarding the similarities between Kara and Supergirl. I was gonna go help at the bank robbery but Supergirl was there. After the robbery ended Kara was back and at her desk like nothing happened, this was even more weird. Ms. Grant called her in for a lunch order which reminded me, I used my superspeed to run and get 2 cheeseburgers each for me, Kara, Winn and James. I came back and went to James's office to drop him off, I went to Winn's desk and gave him his and then I dropped Kara's at her desk and left a note saying they were from me since she was still talking with Ms. Grant. I went back to the lounge. I told everyone to meet me there for lunch. I got there and a few minutes later everyone got there and thanked me for lunch Kara asked how my day was going "Good," I said "I'm probably gonna go get some stuff for my desk after work today though" "Sounds cool" Kara said and Winn asked me "I know your a nerd like me so can I come with?" "Yeah, sure" I answered and Winn pumped his fist. We all spent lunch talking. James and Winn went back to their desks leaving me and Kara. She got something from the vending machine and so did I
"I hope it's ok that I kind of just inserted myself into your social circle"
"Yeah Jackson of course"
"Ok just making sure"
"So how do you like Winn and James"
"I like Winn, James kinda seems like he broods a lot. I'm guessing he's been through alot."
"Yeah, his dad died"
"That sucks"
"Yep"
"You know they both have a crush on you right?"
"What, no they don't"
"Kara trusts me when I say something about a person. I was a detective and I am a people watcher"
"So you're being serious?"
"Yep, they like you, but I don't think you see either of them as anything more than a friend."
"You'd be right about that"
"Don't worry I won't tell them."
"Thank you Jason, you've been a good friend"
"I'm glad."
"Oh look at the time, I gotta get back to work"
"Go ahead, I'm gonna make a coffee"
