Help From The Bat

I had to shake the alien but I eventually ran Kara to gotham. I was hoping Bruce could help. I didn't know who else to go to. And Bruce knew Superman, maybe he could help.

I arrived there and went to the batcave. Everything tried to shoot Kara. but I dodged and moved her out of the way. "Emergency Override. Jason Morgan." I said and the guns stood down. I set Kara down and Ran through the manor to find Bruce and Alfred. They were talking in the kitchen. I sped them to the Batcave. "Jason whats wrong?" Bruce asked "Kara, Supergirl is injured I didn't know who else to go to" I said and showed them to Kara. Bruce and Alfred got to work on saving her. It was a few minutes later. I was stressing out. Bruce wasn't doing too good helping her. I ran him against the wall and slammed him, barring my arm across his throat "Bruce I swear to God if you don't fix her" I said threateningly. He could see the lighting coursing through my eyes "Y/n calmed down. I'm used to trying to kill Kryptobians, not help them." Bruce said "Please Bruce. I'm begging you. Help her." I said in distress. He could see it in my eyes. He saw that I loved Kara. I let Bruce go and he went back to work on Kara.

I was pacing in the batcave, thinking of how to save Kara. "The sun" I realized and I went to Bruce "I need you to use the batwing" I told him "What" Bruce asked. "Trust me, I need to use the batwing" I said and Bruce got it ready. I put Kara in the backseat and got in the front. "Where to?" the computer asked. "Up" I responded and the batwing went straight up. We stopped above the clouds. Into direct sunlight. I turned on my oxygen since I knew the air would be thin, and opened the cockpit, putting Supergirl out on the wing of the ship. She was still unconscious, I felt for a pulse. It was weak "Come on Kara, wake up, wake up, wake up." I said. I sat down in defeat. On the verge of tears. A few minutes later Kara woke up "Flash?" She said when she saw me "Kara, thank God you're awake." I said "How do you know my name, what happened?" She asked. "Let's get back to the ground," I said looking at my HUD "My oxygen is running low."

I landed in the batcave and Supergirl got out. I thanked Bruce, using Batman as his name, and told him to call me Flash. "Your welcome Flash, but you are the one who saved her" He said and he left to let us talk. "How do you know my name?" Kara asked. I pulled off my mask and she saw my face, this shocked her.

"Jason?"
"Yes, it's me"
"That still doesn't explain how you know Supergirl's real name?"
"Supergirl's connection to John and Alex, Alex is like a sister to Supergirl. Just like Kara. Kara and Supergirl have the same exact scar on their left eyebrow. Not to mention your constant disappearing at work, supergirl then showing up somewhere later"
"I'm so stupid"
"No, your not, world's greatest Detective, batman said so himself when I found out his identity"
"Can you tell me?"
"Not my secret to tell"
"What happened to me? Where am I?"
"An alien came to our apartment and grabbed you, I located you and knocked off the alien attacking you. He was kryptonian"
"Non, I thought I'd saw the last of him"
"I shook him off my trail and brought you here. We weren't getting anywhere, I got the idea to use the sun. Since I can't fly I used the batwing"
"Batwing, batman where are we?"
"Gotham. in the batcave. I didn't know who knew your name and I panicked, Batman knows superman so I thought he could help you."
"Thank you Jason, I owe you my life"

I couldn't control myself. I kissed Kara, lightly at first, so that she could pull away if she wanted to. After a few seconds I abruptly stopped "No, I promised myself I wouldn't do this, I just met you, I-" I was mumbling to myself. "Jason" Kara said and she put her hand on my neck and pulled me in for another kiss. I melted into it.

What felt like an eternity later we pulled apart. "I love you" I said "I love you too" Kara said and we kissed again. "Are you ready to get home? We need a new window, and a new door" I said jokingly. I picked up Kara in a bridal carry and ran her home. She was still weak. When we arrived I lay Kara in her bed. "I'm gonna go clean the mess up" I said and left. I took off my suit first and I swept up the glass and wood shards. I ran to a department store and replaced the door. I was throwing away the glass shards and straightening the couch and everything that got misplaced in the attack. There was a knock at the door and I went to it, my guard up after what happened last time. It was Alex. She stormed in and pulled her gun on me. I put my hands up, looking down the barrel "Where is Kara" Alex demanded "She's resting. And that gun won't work on me" I said "Alex stand down" Kara said, she came in her super suit "He knows?" Alex asked "You told him?" Alex continued "He found out" Kara said "Detective, remember" I added and Alex holsters her gun. She turned to me "What did you mean when you said my gun won't work on you?" Alex asked. I used my speed to change into my flash suit, the mask down. I sped to my original spot and stopped.
