Meeting Maggie

Kara Pov

"So how has work been?"
"It's been good."
"Good, i'm glad"
"I don't know why you keep disappearing. And why James and Winn come with you sometimes. But I've probably saved your job. Which I've been doing for you while you're away."
"Thank you"
"That scar, by your left eyebrow… Its really cute"

    I blushed at Jason's compliment. If I wasn't completely in love with him before, I sure am now. I thanked him and went to bed. I was thinking about him all night, I could barely sleep. I talked to Alex the next day when I met her for lunch

"Hey Kara"
"Hi Alex"
"So what's been happening with Jason"
"Oh god, don't get me started"
"That in love with him?"
"Is it that obvious?"
"Not to him, I've been talking with him a bit, mainly trading war stories"
"Thank God"
"He was staring at me last night"
"Like creepy staring?"
"Like, your very pretty staring"
"Score!"
"Yeah, I kissed him on the cheek too"
"Kara Danvers, getting a bit frisky now are we?"
"I couldn't sleep last night I was thinking about him so much"
"I bet he was too"
"Yeah, he called my scar cute"
"You are so adorkable."
"Hey"

    I finished lunch with Alex and went back to work. I had to leave occasionally to be Supergirl, She never ran into the Flash though

Jason Pov

    It was about a week later when there was an Alien attack on Lord technologies. I put on my supersuit and ran over there "Stop" I yelled at the aliens and Supergirl dropped next to me. "Nice to finally meet you" She said "You too, ready to kick some ass?" I asked and we started fighting the aliens. They had the same powers as Supergirl and I'm guessing they were kryptonian. "Hey freeze breath" I yelled at one and It charged me. I fought it at human speed at first. I did this so I could throw it off when I used my superspeed. I used my speed punches, working around it and finally punching the enemy square in the jaw knocking it down. After me and Supergirl fought for a few more minutes. A group of soldiers came in, Alex and John among them. I wasn't gonna use any of their names till they told me. They helped us fight, they're guns using blasts of green that I'm guessing was kryptonite. I noticed the blue thing on their chest was keeping the kryptonite from affecting them so I ran around and removed all of the blue shield, placing one on supergirl just in case. "Thanks" Supergirl said and we kept fighting. Eventually the kryptonians retreated and I talked to Supergirl

"Nice to finally meet you Supergirl"
"You too Flash"
"You did good out there"
"You as well. I'm gonna need to introduce you to my friends"

    I followed Supergirl back to her back where John and Alex walked in. I still had my mask on and wasn't planning on taking it off. "I'm agent Alex Danvers and this is Director John Jones" Alex said and I shook both of their hands "Agent Danvers, Director Jones" I said "It's nice to meet you, i'm guessing your associates of Supergirl, judging by how comfortable she is with you." I said "You'd be right about that" John said "Do you mind taking off that mask Flash?" Alex asked "No can do" I said. Me and Alex continued talking

"Why is that"
"I don't trust you yet, and removing my mask could endanger those I care about"
"You can trust us, we've kept Supergirl and Superman's identity a secret."
"Are you sure about that? Because I know that Clark Kent is Superman. It is honestly surprising that a pair of glasses can fool so many people."

    Everyone was surprised that I knew who superman was. I turned to Supergirl and said "You're probably wondering if I know Supergirl's true identity. I don't, not yet. But I could. Now if you don't mind, I'll be leaving. I can't give you a way to contact me, but if I need your help I know where to find you" I said that and sped off. I made sure to go the opposite direction of Kara's incase they had someone follow me. I then ran home slow enough so that I didn't emit lightning as I ran. 

    Kara wasn't home so I opened my game. I played through the tutorial again and I was slowly getting better. I also watched some videos on how to get better. They seemed to be working as I was slowly improving. I heard the door open an hour after I got home. It was Kara. She took off her shoes and poured herself and me a glass of wine. She then came and sat next to me. I couldn't get drunk off of it and I knew she couldn't either but I drank it. 

"You okay Kara?"
"Yeah, just stressful day"
"I'm sorry"
"Not your fault, Ms. Grant is going crazy over the flash"
"Oof, anything I can do to help"
"Hold me"

    I set my glass down and put my arms around Kara. We just sat there for a while. I was embracing the feeling of the head against my chest. I loved Kara, she was so kind and caring, I hated to see her upset. So I would do anything I can to make her feel better. I kissed her forehead and held there. After what felt like forever but at the same not long enough there was a knock at the door. "Did you invite anyone over?" I asked Kara "Yeah, Alex and her girlfriend Maggie. I forgot to tell you" She said and I let go to let them in "Hello fellow current or ex policewomen " I said and opened the door and Maggie and Alex laughed. Alex and Kara talked and I talked to Maggie

"So Maggie, your Alex's girlfriend?"
"Yep, you don't have a problem with that do you?"
"Nope, love is love, no matter who it's with"
"Good, so I heard your news. What brings you to National City?"
"I was in a coma. Woke up and everyone I knew changed, not for the better. My girl cheated on me and my partner basically forgot about me. So I moved here for a fresh start. I met Kara and here we are"
"Oh man, I'm sorry."
"Yeah, well atleast I got a few cool battle scars, literal and emotional"
"Heh, that's the police life for you, what position were you at CCPD?"
"Lead detective"
"Really me too"
"Thats cool, they gave me a stupid nickname there too. 'Call of Duty' cause I always did it like I was a juggernaut from a video game. And I had a thing for putting attachments on my guns"
"Heh that's funny"
"Yep, what about you, got a nickname?"
"Nope, just ones Alex gives me, not exactly appropriate for Kara over there"

    I laughed at that one

"You are pretty funny Maggie"
"You too Jason. I hope we can be friends in the future"
"Why wait for the future when we are friends now"
"Ten four"
"Roger that"
