Jason: The Origin (Book 1)

The Final Battle

I spent the day patrolling, that way the DEO didn't have to deal with me and I could still be The Flash. I stopped a few mugging, a bank robbery, and various other things. There was an Alien attack. I ran over and the DEO got there. I did my best to help the agents, protect them. One got a fireball thrown at him. I ran over and blocked it with my shed. "Thanks" He said and started shooting at the Alien. I used my speed and took the Alien down. The Guardian arrived. "Looks like you're stealing all the fun today Flash'' James said, seeing the situation was taken care of. "You should try to keep up" I quipped and ran out.

     I was back at the DEO and applause followed when I stopped in the entrance. I walked to the main room. "Congratulations Flash, you earned the DEO's trust back" John said. I gave a nod and Alex patted my shoulder. "Thank you DEO agents. I appreciate your help in the field. I'm sorry for the scene I caused last week. I promise i'll only fight rogue aliens from now on." I said and walked away. Winn got back from Guardianing. He said hi and I worked on things, staying in my suit with the mask down.

    I spent the next month working at the DEO to stop aliens. I was out patrolling when Zoom came in front of me.

"Hi, Flash."
"Zoloman."
"I have your precious blonde. I challenge you to a race for her. I win you give me your speed, you win I give you Kara."
"I need proof of life."

    He showed me a live feed of Kara. She was under the affects of a red sun. "Kara, it's Jason, I'm gonna get you out of there," I said. "No, Jason don't, he's not worth it." Kara said and Zoom shut it off. "I'll do it" I said, Zolm told me to meet him at an abandoned Lord technologies warehouse. I went back to the DEO. I grabbed Alex and John. "I need your help" I said. "With what" John asked. "Kara, Zoom's got her. I'm racing him to get her back, I need you two to be there. Help me if I ask, get Kara out if I die." I said. They agreed and we strapped up. I was thinking of how I could beat Zoom for sure. Winn came to me. "We've got a problem. Zoom stole tech. He could use it to destroy the world." Winn said worried, he explained. He said that it needed a ton of energy though. That's why he wanted to race, to channel the energy. 

    A few hours later I went to the place with Alex and John behind me. "Jason, no" Kara said, she had red sun cuffs. Zoom used those instead of kryptonite. "That's the magnetar" I said looking at a device and a giant ring. Zoom nodded. "You want to channel the enemy we create while running, to destroy the multiverse." I said "Yes, you figured it out. Good job. So here is how it works. I win when the magnetar has enough energy, you win if you can stop me before that happens." Zoom growled. I put my mask on and walked to the track.
    We were both ready to run. "Three" Zoom said "Two" I said. "One" Zoom said and we both took off. I was trying to knock Zoom off, or out, give me enough chance. I looked over and saw Alex and Kara. 

Alex Pov.

    I grabbed Kara and took the cuffs of her. She flew up and collected solar radiation. She came back down when I grabbed her arm. "He needs to do this on his own'' I said and Kara stood down. We watched the yellow and blue lightning circle the magnetar.

Jason Pov

    I punched Zoom and he kept running. I saw a beam shoot up into the sky. I knew it was the time to use my plan. I ran back and time and created a time remnant. He went and circled the beam that was being shot into the sky. He was trying to wind the beam and bring it back down. I kept running with Zoom, waiting for the last step of my plan.

Kara Pov

    I was watching Jason run, he went through a portal and out of it came two of him, one went down to run around the beam of energy. One kept racing Zoom. I heard Jason scream, pushing himself to go faster. The Jason on the bottom disintegrated and the beam was destroyed. I wished it wasn't the real Jason.

Jason pov

    Zoom grabbed me and ran me to the ground. I stood up and shook my head at everyone, letting them know it was still just me and Zoom. "No!" Zoom yelled. Suddenly a portal opened up, my plan was open, out came two dementor looking things, they mutated him, he became zombie like and then they took him. I collapsed to my knees. Damn I was tired. I felt my mask was a bit torn. I took it off and Kara came running over. "You did it, how?" Kara asked, "Have you ever doubted it?" I said and Kara kissed me. I pulled away and was suddenly sent flying. My ears rang. John stood up and Alex was still on the ground and I stood up. I looked for Kara. I turned back and John was checking up on Alex. I was worried sick. I took a step forward when I felt something under my foot. I picked it up. It was Kara's cape.

Kara Pov

    There was an explosion, I got up with my ears ringing. I looked for Jason and couldn't find him. I was looking around when a man came to me through a portal, another man in a suit like Jason's was there too. "Cisco, Jason?" I asked. They took off their masks. One was Cisco, the other guy looked like Jason. "Jason is that you" I said and hugged him. "I'm not Jason," He said, I pulled away, confused. "I'm Barry Allen, This is Cisco, who are you" the man who looked like Jason said. "I'm Supergirl, Kara Danvers," I replied. "Where am I" I asked. "You're on Earth, Central city, but not your earth. Welcome to the multiverse" Barry said.
