Alex's jaw dropped to the floor "Your him? The Flash." Alex asked "Yes, Before you asked, the lighting gave me my powers. But you can't tell anyone my identity. Just everyone who knows Kara's. No one else. Not Superman either, and not her enemies." I said "I won't" Alex said. Kara had gone back to bed. 
"What happened?"
"Kara was attacked by someone named Non, he beat her up badly, I saved her and brought her to Gotham to get help from batman. But Non is still out there"
"Well track him down don't worry"
"I'm not worried about that, im worried about how mine and Kara's relationship could be affected"
"What do you mean?"
"I kissed her, God i'm an idiot"
"You two will be fine, I know you will."
"Can I ask you something"
"Sure"
"I know how cringey it sounds but, is that okay with you, if I end up dating Kara, I want to make sure her friends and family are okay with it. I know we just met bu-"
"Yes, you have my blessing. You two are perfect for each other."
"Thank you, now if you don't mind I'm gonna finish cleaning up, Non made a mess"
"Okay, and Jason?"
"Yes?"
"Thank you, for saving Kara"
"Your welcome"

    Alex left and I finished up. I took a shower, put on sweatpants and a shirt, and then I called work. "Hey, Ms. Grant, this is Jason, I'm with Kara right now, she got sick and it got to me too, we may be out for a few days." I said and hung up. I went to go check on Kara. She was lying in bed watching Netflix on her laptop, she had changed into shorts and a t-shirt. She looked very tired. I knocked at the door frame. Letting Kara know I was there. I walked and sat on the bed
"Hey Kara, you ok?"
"Yeah, thanks for saving me"
"Don't mention it"
"I'm sorry for dragging you into this"
"Its okay, I can keep up, no pun intended"
"Heh, your great"
"So are you, and don't worry about having to go to work tomorrow, I called us in sick"
"Ms. Grant let me take a few sick days?"
"Yes, I think she's got a soft spot for me"
"I'm noticing a lot of people do too"
"I guess, so you gonna be okay?"
"Thanks to you"
"I'll let you rest"

    I was at her door when I heard her speak "Stay" This surprised me, but I walked back over and climbed into bed next to her. I put my arms around her, conscious about whether she was ok with the contact. I held her in my arms late into the night, eventually falling asleep. 

    I woke up the next morning to see the back of a blonde haired head, I was spooning Kara. Suddenly all the memories of last night flooded in, butterflies in my stomach. I just kept holding Kara in my arms, I never wanted to let go.

Kara Pov

    I woke up and felt arms around me, I felt another body pressing against my back. Jason was spooning me. I remembered last night. When I asked him to stay with me, and then he climbed into bed and we cuddled until we fell asleep. "Jason was already up, he was just laying there, his arms wrapped around me tight. We were like that for a few more minutes until I broke the silence. I noticed Jason was still abit delirious in the mornings

"Good morning"
"Hey, how'd you sleep"
"Better with your arms around me"
"That's good"
"Do you want breakfast?"
"I could ask you the same"
"I'll take that as a yes"
"No don't get up, ten more minutes"
"Fine"
"We don't have to go to work, we can spend the day together."
"I would love nothing more."

    We lay in silence for another 30 minutes. Jason fell asleep again, and I got up to make breakfast, it was pancakes again. I was adding a few more pancakes to the already big stack when Jason walked in 

"What are you doing up?"
"Making breakfast"
"You should be in bed"
"I'm okay Jason"
"Okay, thanks for breakfast"
"Your welcome"

    Jason sat down and I placed a few pancakes in front of him, as well as a bottle of syrup and a cup of coffee. He started eating. I let him wake up a bit, I went and turned on the tv, putting on a movie in the background, it wasn't anything special, just another romantic movie I liked. Jason went to the bathroom and came back a few minutes later looking more awake. He sat next to me on the couch and leaned his head on my shoulder "I love you" He said "I love you too" I told Jason and he nuzzled his head into my shoulder. Jason is not like any other man I've met. He's masculine, but at the same time he's comfortable showing emotion. Tough, and reserved, but at the same time soft and open with his feelings. I liked that about him.
