Maaldoria

    I woke up with Kara laying her head on my chest, she looked peaceful while she slept. I laid my head back down on the pillow. I remembered last night and the day that happened before it. I just kept thinking, thinking about my dad, about Zoom, and about Reign. Then eventually I thought about everything I didn't want to think about. I spent the next few weeks trying to find Zoom. They hadn't made any plays, which made me worry they were planning something. Kara helped me de-stress, she was, just, her. The woman I loved. 

    About a month after Kara's earth birthday Kara asked me for help finding a missing person that came across Catco. We went to chase down a lead. We went to a lab. "Hi, our friend told us that we could make some quick cash here, we're still trying to save up for the wedding," Kara said, holding up her ring. "Oh, well we can get started with some blood work." The doctor said. He definitely looked shady "Actually, we can't get blood work done, it's very against our religion" I said, thinking of a quick lie. "Ok, well, let's just skip that part." The doctor said.

    Heed us to an empty room with a console and something big under a tarp. He showed us where to stand and then pulled the tarp down. I recognized it from looking over the DEO files "Not good" I said to Kara. The interplanetary portal turned on and I felt hands on my arms. I stepped out and punched the guy in the face, knocking him down and unconscious. Kara did the same. The doctor ran off and we both changed into our supersuits. 

    I saw Kara walking to the portal "Kara, we can't go over there, that's an interplanetary portal, we don't know what's on the other side, let alone the kind of sun the planet has. You may not have your powers." I said "There are people on the other side, people who need help. Tell Alex" Kara said and stepped through the portal. I called Alex using my HUD. "Alex, im sending you an address, There's a portal, if we're not back in 12 hours send help, Winn should be able to help get it open" I said and hung up, I sped through the portal, I went through it and felt my speed die out, I fell and skidded a few feet. Kara laughed. I stood up 

"No speed?"
"No, I guess the kryptonian part of my DNA makes my speed susceptible to red sun"
"This planet has a red sun"
"Yes"

    I pointed to the red sun and Kara sighed "So no powers" Kara said "No powers" I confirmed. I heard a ship I looked up and found that it was going to a fortress. I heard footsteps crunch behind me, it was two guards. Me and Kara punched them, she cut her knuckle. I took off my gloves "Take these, they'll protect your knuckles" I said and handed them to Kara "What about you" Kara asked "I used to be a detective, meaning my knuckles are conditioned for hand to hand combat, I don't need them" I said and Kara took the gloves and put them on. We walked up to the fortress and pretended to surrender to get inside.

    They took us to a holding cell with a bunch of people. "Flash, Supergirl, are you here to help us?" One asked Kara nodded "Well you can just break down the walls" Another said "I'm sorry, we don't have our powers here, but we can still help you guys" I reassured. They all looked a bit sadder. Kara saw one and it looked like she knew her.

"Izzy, Izzy Williams"
"You know my name?"
"Your mother is looking for you"
"You know my mom?"
"No, I have a friend at Catco who told me about you"

    They hugged. One man talked to me.

"Flash, can't you still use your powers?"
"Supergirl had to give me blood to save me, giving me kryptonian powers, but that also means the red sun here is taking away my speed too. I'm sorry"
"Can you still help us"

    I turned to the group after thinking for a second. "When guards come to check on us we charge them, take their weapons. Me and supergirl can knock them out, anyone with fighting experience is welcome to help, but do not hurt yourself. Let me and Supergirl take point, I used to be a detective so I know how to get us out of here but you need to listen to me." Everyone nodded and smiled. A few minutes later the doctor and a girl in a red dress came in with an alien and two guards. The woman in the red dress turned to the alien who talked, then she turned to us "Congratulations, you've l been sold" She said. I turned to Kara "This isn't good, we're on Maaldoria, slavers moon. Red sun, slave trade, were lucky if we make it out alive" I whispered, she looked worried. The gate opened "Now!" I yelled and I punched the guards. I punched several times and took his gun, Kara got the second one down and handed the gun to the guy who talked to me earlier.

    I pointed the gun at the doctor and the girl in the red dress. We put them in the cell and turned on the gate. The alien escaped and I got to the front of the line. I led us through the corridors, taking us the way we came in. We got outside and people were running through the portal. Alex and the DEO came through when we got close. They helped everyone through. I heard an engine and turned to see a giant ship that dropped off a dozen guards. Alex through something and I felt my powers come back. I ran at the guards with my speed, punching them all unconscious. Using combis of strength, flight, speed and heat vision. Kara got everyone through the portal. I ran back through. Winn was blabbering and I saw a guard on the ground "I'm not a red shirt!" He said excitedly "Nice man, but we got to go" I said and pushed him through the portal and then got Kara and ran stepped through. I hit the console with my heat vision to break the console and shut the portal down. 

    I talked a bit with everyone. "What was that back there?" Kara asked John. "I couldn't make the trip myself sonI thought I'd send a little sun along," He said. I patted his shoulder and then I made sure all these Kids got home safely. Alex and Winn and Maggie came over. Winn showed me the space dirt he got there. "Looks like we made the Maaldoria run on 12 parsecs' ' I said jokingly. Winn laughed at my reference. We hung out late into the night until people eventually trickled out. The next day was spent by me and Kara planning the wedding. I was going to go try on tuxedos the next day and Kara went for dresses. I had to make some calls. The wedding wasn't for a few more months but I wanted to make sure everyone could be there. I called Bruce and asked him to be my best man. Winn, Cisco and John were my other groomsman. Kara's maid of honor was Alex, her other brides maids were Maggie and Lena and Caitlin.
