Jason: The Origin (Book 1)

Guardian

    I walked in to see Kara, she was covered in lights ''Yellow Sun lamps' ' I asked and Alex nodded "She should be okay once she has absorbed enough radiation, she drained her powers in her fight. If she walked up before her powers return she won't have them, she'll be as fragile as a human." Alex said and I nodded and sat down "I'll leave you two" Alex said and I sat with Kara ''Sorry I couldn't get to you sooner, I had to deal with Zoom'' I said. I sat in silence with her and after a while I fell asleep.

Kara Pov

    I woke up in the DEO, I remembered fighting Reign and then getting carried here. I looked to my right and Jason was sitting by my side asleep in his Flash suit. "You look very cute when you sleep" I said and Jason slowly opened his eyes. He saw me and sat up.

"Hey, you okay"
"I'll be fine"
"Good, I tried to help earlier but I had to deal with Zoom"
"Did you get them?"
"I knocked out Zoom but Reign escaped with him. I know how to stop Reign though"
"Really"
"The Black Rock from Krypton, there's some on an asteroid, I was thinking we could go take a visit?"
"Yeah, just let me rest a bit more"
"Ok, there's something else I need to tell you"
"What's that"
"When you fought Reign you drained your powers, your human right now."
"Great"
"Yeah, do you need anything, should I get Alex"
"I'm a bit hungry"
"You are speaking my language"

    Jason ran off and came back with potstickers. I sat up, painfully, Reign bruised me "You okay" Jason asked with concern on his face "Yeah, just a little bruised" I answered "You should see the bruises you get from taking bullets with a Kevlar vest." Jason said "Can't imagine its fun" I said and Jason shook his head. 

Jason Pov

    I finished eating with Kara and I heard an alarm from the DEO. "No, stay here Kara, you're a liability in the field right now. I can't protect you and civilians at the same time" I said and Kara reluctantly leaned back. I ran to the main room and John told us what was going on. A White Martian was attacking Lord technologies. I ran over and saw it, it was tall. "Looking for me" I asked, ready for a fight. It ran at me and I deployed my shield. I used the shield to hit it in the head, it was stunning and I used the opportunity to land a few body hits. I swayed me away and I hit a wall. I was coughing when I saw a man wearing armor zipline in and kick him, I recognized him as Guardian, the new vigilante. The other guy was knocked unconscious and I defeated the Martian, I pulled the guys helmet off and saw his face "James?" I said and I took the Martian and James back to the DEO.
