Wedding Bells

Kara came back, I asked to see her suit and I went back to my room/workshop to put the cape back on. I came back out and Kara kissed me. I sat next to her. I wanted to ask her something

"Thank you"
"Your welcome, can I ask you something?"
"Always"
"Can we go ahead and get married?"
"I thought youd never ask"

    I kissed Kara and next month we got married.

    I was at the wedding. Kara was wearing a beautiful white dress with her hair down, I think it looked better that way, like a halo around her head. John walked her down the aisle and then we exchanged vows. "Kara, when I met you I didn't have a home, I was lonely and heart broken. You fixed that broken heart and gave me a home. I was in love with you from the moment I met you. Every moment with you is amazing, and every moment I'm without you is one I'm thinking of you. You are the love of my life and the reason I'm still living." I said, Kara smiled and so did I. 

    It was Kara's turn for vows. "Jason, I knew you were a good person the day I met you, you have protected me left and right and made me feel at home and safe in your arms. I wouldn't be who I am without you, I love you" Kara said. "Jason Morgan, do you take Kara Danvers to be your lawfully wedded wife?" The priest asked. "I do," I said. He turned to Kara. "Kara Danvers, do you take Jason Morgan to be your lawfully wedded husband?" He asked, "I do," Kara said. We exchanged rings. "You may kiss the bride" He said and I kissed Kara, butterflies in my stomach.

    We pulled apart and walked away, going towards the reception. it was time for Bruce and Alex's speeches. Bruce up first. "Hi everyone, I'm Bruce Wayne, but we're not here to talk about me, we're here for Jason and Kara. Jason is a great guy. He moved to Gotham through the foster system, we won't get into why, I met Jason in high school, I was struggling to be honest. Jason helped me. His foster parents didn't want him to so he snuck out at night, to come and help Bruce Wayne, with Calculus homework." Bruce said and everyone laughed. "Jason is willing to risk himself for the good of others, that's why he is the best man I've ever know, and Kara is lucky to have him, I know I'm lucky to call him my friend." Bruce finished and sat down, I stood up to hug him before he could. "Thanks man" I said "I wasn't lying" Bruce said and sat down.

    Alex stood up and gave her speech. "Kara, is interesting. She came to us when she was 13, I was jealous of her at first, but now, she's my closest friend besides my girlfriend Maggie. Anyways, Kara is amazing. She helps everyone she can in any way she can, She's helped me, Jason, our friends, even strangers. I'm very glad to have Kara in my life, These two are a couple of heroes" Alex said Kara hugged her. They sat down and they served food. After that me and Kara had the first dance. The song was 'Say You Won't Let Go' by James Arthur. The song finished and Kara danced with Hank instead of her Dad, since he was dead. 

    They danced and it was time for me and my dead mom to dance. I danced with Eliza instead, it was to my Mom's favorite song. "This is my mom's favorite song, may she rest in peice" I said and 'Endless Love' by Lionel Richie pkayed. Kara and I spent the night dancing, and talking, and having food, and hanging out and enjoying the company of our friends. I knew my parents were looking down on me from heaven smiling. My mom would have loved Kara.

    The night ended and me and Kara were back home. "I love you Mr. Morgan" Kara said. "I love you Mrs. Danvers-Morgan" I said and kissed Kara, this was the first time since I could remember that I was truly happy, and I had a lifetime of happiness left with Kara. And I planned on making the most of it.
