Kara left and I told Alex what happened. If this worked Reign is longer an issue, just Zoom. "Well get him" Kara said at home she saw me and knew I was thinking about Zoom.
"I'll get him" "Not alone" "Yes" "Jason, you need my help" "Kara, he took my dad from me, it has to be me. If I need your help I'll ask. I appreciate you offering your help but I need to do this on my own, you can help in someway but not in the field against him" "Okay, but the second it looks like he's gonna win i'm in there" "Deal" "Deal"
I talked with Kara into the night. I was tired of being the Flash. Kara was in my arms watching a movie when our phones went off. It was a call from Alex and Winn. We went to the DEO in our suits. "Whats up" I asked "There is an Alien ship in the bay, we need you guys to go check it out" Winn said and he sent me the coordinates. I saw it on my HUD, "Lets go" I said to Kara. We were on the street. "Right here" I said and grabbed Kara. I phased us down and we fell into the ship. "That was weird," Kara said. I did a sweep of the ship and came back "Nothing" I said and Kara was looking at the capsules on the wall. One was drained of fluid and someone was inside. I saw it, I didn't think he was breathing so I punched through the glass. Kara saw him and stumbled backwards. "No, it can't be," She said. I grabbed the man and I used my phasing and flight to get us back to the surface and then the DEO.
I set him down in the infirmary. "Is that'' Alex asked Kara and she nodded. I didn't know who they were talking about "I'll call you when he wakes up" Alex said and me and Kara flew home. She was off.
"Hey you okay" "Yeah, I just didn't expect to find that guy down their" "You know him" "I used to" "Who is he" "Doesn't matter." "Kara, please, I can tell he was important to you, was he a friend, boyfriend, enemy?" "He was my boyfriend" "How long ago was that" "A few months before you moved here" "Why'd you guys split" "He was from Daxam, his people invaded and we had to disperse lead through the atmosphere. Lead is toxic to Daxamites, he had to leave. I sent him into space and we never saw him again" "Until now" "Jason, you have nothing to worry about, I only have eyes for you" "Alright, you gonna be okay?" "As long as your here" "Always"
Kara kissed me and we went to bed. I was at work the next morning, I walked up to Alex to talk.
"So he's Kara's ex, huh?" "She told you?" "Yep, he gonna wake up" "He should, is Kara okay?" "I think so, she was stressed, but I think I talked her down." "Alright"
I heard a clang and put on my suit and ran to the med bay, The guy was gone. I ran and found him in the artifact room "Hey man, slow down" I said he ran at me and I used my speed and strength to punch him out. I took him to a cell and set him down. I called Kara and then waited for him to wake up. "Good morning sleeping beauty" I said. He saw Kara ''Kara, is that you'' He asked. "Yeah Mon-el, It's me" Kara said, I now knew the guy's name. "Why were you trying to steal this'' I said, holding up the thing he tried to steal. "Who are you" He asked. "I'm the Flash'' I said. "You can tell him" Kara said to me and I pulled my mask off. "You can call me Jason, Jason Morgan." I finished. "Hi, what is the date." Mon-el asked.
I laughed at him, I could already tell me and him weren't gonna see eye to eye. "March 16, 2021" I said, his eyes widened. "No, I woke up too early. I need to get back to the ship" He said. "What do you mean too early." I was confused. "When Kara sent me to space I was sent through a wormhole. It sent me into the future. I lived there for seven years, but for you it's only been a few months." Mon-el said, Kara was shocked. I put my hands on her arms. "You okay" I asked "Yeah, Im fine" Kara said, I wasn't too sure.
I turned back to Mon-el. "Let me guess, you traveled back in time on that ship, but you got stuck, so you went into those chambers to cryosleep until you got back to your time" I said "That's really off the top of your head?" He asked "I'm the world's finest detective" I said "I know, you're all over the history books." Mon-el said. "Wait, I'm in the history books?" I asked "Yep, i'm not telling you why though, you shouldn't know too much about your future." Mon-el said.
We talked more and then Kara and I went home, she sat down with dread on her face. I sat next to her and put my arm around her, she started crying and I held her with both arms.
"What's wrong" "Its my fault" "What is" "That mon-el got sent to the future" "How do you mean" "I sent him away from earth, he wouldn't have even had to leave if I didn't set the lead bomb off." "Kara listened to me. Those Daxamites wanted to kill thousands, maybe tens of thousands of people. You chose the life of many over one. I can guarantee Mon-el would have been willing to make that sacrifice" "How did you get so wise" "Master yoda"
I said that seriously and Kara laughed. I did that on purpose, I wanted to make Kara laugh.
"You are amazing" "Not as much as you" "I don't think that's true" "It is, you give people strength, you give me strength, you make me strive to be a better man." "I'm glad" "You should be, you inspire the flash, he wouldn't be able to do what he does without you." "That's not true" "Oh, but it is. So, I was thinking about redesigning my suit. Adding some, kryptonian elements." "Ooh, Interesting" "Can I go work on it?" "Yeah." "I also had another question" "Shoot" "So, I sleep with you most nights, and I only use my room for my clothes so can I turn it into a workshop? I can work on hero tech, anything we need" "Go ahead."
I used my speed to set up a workbench and I got some tools and tech from the DEO. I got to work on my suit. I wanted to add blue detailing, and I wanted to replace my logo with the symbol Kara put on my wallet. After two hours I finished. I had to make sure it looked good. I made sure everything still fit in my ring and then I walked out of my room in my suit to show Kara.
"It's amazing" "I replaced the logo with the symbol from the wallet you gave me" "That's a good idea" "Yup, but powers, both symbols" "I like the blue detailing too" "Thank you" "You did really good." "I hope so"

I took the suit off and talked with Kara until we eventually went to bed. I was up late thinking. I can tell Kara still felt for Mon-el. I didn't think Kara would leave me, but I'm not sure, I can tell she was very serious about him. I also debated whether or not to talk to her, I didn't keep secrets from her, I hoped she returned the favor. I fell asleep remembering memories with Kara, hoping they wouldn't be the last.
