Lost... (AOT Levi x Fem!Reader)

Episode 2

We were still running. It felt like hours had passed by and I felt numb all over again. I couldn't help but think about Carla. Everyone was screaming, crying. Fearing for their lives. It was so hard to block out the screams.

We got to a somewhat safe and quiet place, that was when Eren hit Hannes on the head.

"Eren? What?" Hannes asked.

"We could've saved Mom! Why the hell would you do that?! We could've saved Mom!" Eren yelled while hitting him on the head.

"Cut it out!" Hannes yelled before throwing Eren off of him.

"Eren!" Mikasa yelled. She struggled out of me and run to him.

"Eren..." Hannes walked up to him,"You couldn't help your mother because you're weak."

Eren tried throwing a punch at him but Hannes quickly grabbed it. "I... I couldn't face the Titan because I was scared!"

Tears spilled from their eyes before Hannes took Eren and Mikasa by the head and apologized to them both. Hannes looked over at me.

"Captain. What are you going to do?"

"...Is there extra ODM gear somewhere? I forgot mine..." I looked away thinking back at what happened.

"You can take mine. I'm sure there's extras back at the boats."

I nodded, Hannes gave me his OMD gear. I clicked the gas tank to know how much was in it before Hannes said,"There's a lot, don't worry."

I nod,"Take care of them while I try to save as many as I can."

He nodded and walked away with the kids in hand. I looked at them for a moment before running the opposite direction. I menuvegeared towards the Titans and sliced their naps. I searched for anyone who was alive or being chased by Titans and killed every single Titan in sight.

~Small time skip~

I tried to save as many civilians and Garrison soldiers but the Titans still got them. It was so painful to watch that I wanted so badly to let my anger out on every Titan eating them.

It was dusk and some Garrison soldiers were trying to get as many as possible to the inner gates. I was helping by killing the nearby Titans. I was in sweat and my gas was almost done. I ran up to one of the soldiers and ordered them to give me their gas. After that I went straight back to killing Titans and getting people to the inner gates.

One soldier was yelled at everyone that they're about to close the gates. One soldier told me that they'll be using cannons to fight off the Titans for now. I had to stay out of the way and help them fire cannons at the Titans. I also had to calm some people down which as a little hard because I was panicking too.

"It won't be long until the Armour Titan will appear..." I thought.

Cannons were firing left and right. Some where even missing the Titans fully! "Hey! You all need to fire them at their legs or head! We can't have you missing them!" I yelled.

"But-"

"But nothing!"

We kept firing but they were still missing. The higher up yelled at them this time but it led to an agreement. The gate was about to close and most ran for their lives. "I don't blame them. They're scared..." I thought.
