Episode 16: Strangers Part 2

Blood was dripping from my mouth and my head. I felt like I was going to fall but made sure to keep my posture and act as if they didn't just beat the living shit out of me. It's been about an hour and my room was trashed due to the fighting. I didn't like it one bit but ignored it for now and hoped someone would come.

"You boys sure know how to throw a real punch..." I said.

Reiner let out a heavy sigh,"And you sure know how to act cool and calm."

I glared at him before Berthold started talking,"We all can't go on like this. Corporal, you either let us kill you or-"

"Like hell I'm going to get killed by the likes of you two." I growled.

"Then we'll just have to take the hard way..." Reiner said before throwing a very very very hard punch to my head.

I couldn't even fight back and the darkness was slowly consuming me. But before I closed my eyes I heard them say something like,"What the hell Reiner?!"

"Well what else was I supposed to do?"

"I wa-"

My eyes closed and I fell into a deep slumber. It's not the best time to sleep but Reiner's punch was so sore and my body couldn't keep on fighting like this for another two hours so... I might as well as fool myself and die peaceful.

I'm going to be honest... I didn't really expect to die like this. Now I'll never get to say the things I wanted to say to the people that I love...
Especially Levi...

"(Y/n)?" I heard a familiar voice asked. It sounded like...

"L-Lilith..?" I slowly opened my eyes and saw a bright light before my vision shifted to my familiar comrade.

"No I'm not... Whoever that is. I'm Sam. Remember (Y/n)?"

I slowly sat up and looked around. My room was clean. Nothing was out of place and... Now that I think about it... My body feels completely fine. I'm not in any pain nor is my room a mess.

"What the..?"

"Corporal?"

I looked at Sam and noticed he's in his PJs. He doesn't normally wear his PJs unless he's going to bed {Author: well yea no shit sherlock!} or is sick.

"Sam... Why the fuck are you wearing your PJs in the middle of the day?"

"Uhhh... Corporal... It's midnight." Sam opened up the curtain and there it was. It was night time.

My eyes widened,"Wait wha-?"

"Corporal, are you okay?"

I turned towards him and asked,"Sam, what happened after I left training this morning?"

"Huh? I don't know. I was busy training and assumed you were doing paperwork or resting a little. After training I came by to check on you and you were fast asleep in your chair with your book on your face."

Now I was extremely confused. What does he mean by I was in my chair sleeping? Wasn't I just being Punched and kicked by Reiner and Berthold just before I fell unconscious? Weren't they going to kill me?

"I guess it was just a dream..? Maybe..?"

"Corporal?" Sam looked worried.

I shook my head and laid back down before shifting towards the wall,"I'm gonna get some more sleep... You should go."

"Are you sure, Corporal? You seem... Like you've seen a ghost or something."

"I'm fine Sam. Get some sleep, okay? Tomorrow's going to be a hard day." I said suddenly remembering that tomorrow was the mission. I shook my head from the raising thought about how terrifying and terrible tomorrow's going to be.

Out of the corner of my eye, I saw Sam nod and slowly leave my room before saying goodnight, then left.

Something's going on. I can just feel it! What exactly happened after I was knocked unconscious? Surely they wouldn't just change their minds and decided to clean my room before setting me in my chair and then into my bed.

I actually think Sam was the one to carry me to my bed because I remember slight visions of someone carrying me to my bed. Wait hold up... Was It Sam? Maybe it was Levi? No Sam is taller than Levi and the figure in my so called flashback was definitely taller and a little more muscular. Not that I'm saying Levi isn't muscular! Just... I don't know...

This is so strange...
I really don't like this.
I need to figure out what's going on.
But...

"Was it a dream or... Did it really happen? I'm so confused..."

Heya everyone. I'm completely sorry that this is a short chapter! I actually hate that it's so short but I guess you and I are going to have to live with it. I'm sorry... ༎ຶ‿༎ຶ

I'm also sorry I didn't publish this sooner, I've been busy and my exams are next week so I'm trying my hardest to focus and not fail ಥ‿ಥ I have no hope for myself but I'm still going to try and massacre all the Titan exams!!!Wish me luck!
