Sweet Sweat

The scorching heat overtook every one of 104th scouts that was building the train tracks. Sasha ran for the hills with the last bottle of water in her hands while Armin chased after her. Mikasa strongly carried some loads (Which was extremely impressive) while Eren, (Y/n), Connie and Jean hammered at the train tracks.

"Hey! Is this... something... they really need us... to do?" Connie asked, sweating like a pig and hammering down on the train tracks.

"Nope! We wouldn't be doing this but those idiots opened their mouth. "We can develop the island and our muscles at the same time," and "It's a good workout," My ass!" Jean said while glaring at Eren and (Y/n).

"We can't do much but wait for Hizuru's answer anyway."

"Yea, and hope they can be our mediator to the world. We're grasping at straws here trying to avoid the Rumbling and save Historia."

Hange waved her hands at everyone while she and Levi rode in with their horses. Greeting the 104th scout group with (Y/n) as their watcher, Hange spoke,"Man, you're all working hard in this heat!"

"Yea, well, we're stuck watching this idiot." Jean pointed with his thumb to Eren.

Levi then whispered, "Unbelievable. You're all growing so damn big."

"Come on, I'm still the same height as before." (Y/n) chuckled at Levi as she hung her sweaty arms around his shoulders,"Get off! You're sweaty!" Which she giggled at.

"Is it about Hizuru?" Eren asked.

Hange spoke,"The Azumabitos sent their rely."

"And?"

"No good. Looks like we can't turn to Hizuru. " Eren's expression soured while (Y/n) looked pissed with a heavy heart,"Obvious." She said while rolling her eyes. "It seems they want to monopolize Paradis Island's resources. They won't help us trade with others. The world wants Paradis Island to be the root of all evil. It helps unite all nations and bring stability to the world." Hange explained.

The Silence thickened as some were pissed and some sad.

"So we've got no choice but to rely on the Rumbling and sacrifice Historia?"

"That's right." Levi said sorrowful.

"Bullshit!" (Y/n) yelled and kicked a nearby small rock.

"You're kidding! They've decided we're devils without knowing our intentions? Why won't they consider a path of peace?" Armin asked which Mikasa answered," I think... because they don't know. They fear us because they don't know what we are."

Hange smiled, "That's right! They won't trust people whose faces they haven't seen. So let's meet 'em! If you don't understand something, go figure it out." Everyone was surprised at that,"Isn't it what we scouts do?"

Eventually, everyone went back to work but (Y/n) rode with Levi on his horse back home. She laided her head on his back as she sighed heavily,"You okay?" Levi asked.

"I'm tired and pissed." (Y/N) answered which made Levi respond with,"I know..."

~Later that night~

Levi and his wife cuddle up close in their pajamas next to one another after their shower once they got home and escaped Hange's pestering them with responsibilities.

"Levi?"He hummed while playing with his beautiful wife's (H/c) hair.

"What if it doesn't work out? Everything we've hoped and lived for?"
(Y/N) sat up on Levi's lap with a worry and sad expression.

"Well figure it out. Like we always do." Levi smiled and took her cold hands before kissing them softly. She laided back down on top of him.

Levi kept playing with her hair before asking a question he was worried to ask,"May I ask..." She looked up at him with a cute expression and puppy-dog-eyes (his words). Giving him the intention that she gave her full attention."What... is your real last name? Fritz is suppose to be the man your sister, Ymir, married, right?"

She stayed quiet before sighing heavily,"Yea..."

"Why is everyone calling you that? (Y/N) Fritz. You didn't sleep with him nor did you bare his children. From what I know, at least."

She breathed out before explaining,"I know... it's all because Ymir wanted something... wanted love. She loved her children. She loved her power. But she loved that man, Fritz, more. I could never understand it at first but... "

"Now you do, right?"

(Y/n) nodded smiling but unfortunately, that smile slowly faded,"I just wish people knew that I was nothing to that man. Just a slave... it scares the living shit out of me, you know? To think I was property of a man that was cruel and after his death, people still called me his slave. His property."

Levi held his breath and hugged (Y/n) tightly,"Please don't talk like that... I can't imagine it... especially you being someone's property and them taking away your freedom to live. You're nothing like him nor are you a Fritz."

"I'm scared, Levi... everyone I've met outside of Paradis Island knows my background yet I have no memory of it. Only bits and pieces. I don't want to be a Fitz or a slave or anything that doesn't justifies me as a human being."

He kissed her head,"We'll get through this. Together. You're strong," He kiss her head again," beautiful,"kissed again,"and smart." He moved her body a bit before his soft lips Kissed her tender lips at the last words.

She kept his lips on her before moving a bit up so that she could kiss him better. Their lips entangled into a French kiss with their tongues dancing around. (Y/n) held his hair while Levi pressed his rough hands on her hips tightly.

(Y/n) wanted to take Levi's top off so slowly but surely, she did. Levi however in return, wanted her bottoms off. Sure she had underwear on but it would be a bit better than taking her top off in which, she wore nothing underneath it.

His hesitation showed but with slow actions as they kept their kisses at max, Levi lifted her hips up and slowly slid her bottoms off. (Y/n) heavily blussed but didn't mind. She stopped their kiss though so that they could breath again which led them to realize, they were actually pretty tired.

"Levi... I love you."

"I love you too, (Y/n)." He let her lay on top of him again before he kissed her head and hugged her tightly,"I promise to always protect you and keep you safe for as long as I live."
