Lost... (AOT Levi x Fem!Reader)

In the Rain; and criminals

So it's been a year and a half now. Life is okay. I've been doing the best I can and training my squad. Moblit and I talk from time to time but other than that I just speak to my squad.
Oh, and Erwin, Though it's not often we talk. I've also been talking to Mike too, Though most of the time we just talk about scout things but nothing special.

I've also been doing this thing where I train in the rain for no reason. I guess could say it clears my mind? Kinda? Though my squad thinks I'll get sick and then they force me back inside. So I find a far away place from HQ just to train in the rain and to clear my mind and forget this world for a moment. Just a moment...

Today was one like none other. Except... Today Erwin and Mike's squad are going to capture Levi and his friends. I was informed by the commander himself and he told me to keep an eye on them. I mean Erwin and Mike and Flagon are already doing that, why should I?

Anyway, I was unfortunately not invited to catch them even though I wanted to a little... I am kinda jealous. Though it brings back memories of how I use to fangirl over Levi and his friends, mostly Levi....

It was early morning and Erwin them were about to go before Mike spotted me and yelled,"(Y/n)! Aren't you joining us?"

I clicked my tongue,"No, Commander just wants you and Erwin."

"What a shame. You could've probably helped us in catching these criminals." Erwin said.

"Thanks Erwin but it's already been decided-"

"(Y/n), you're going with Erwin them!" Commander Keith Shadis yelled out of nowhere.

"Wait, what?! But I thought-"

"I've decided that it's best to let you go with."

"Why?"

"There is a Dangerous criminal... He's strong so if Erwin or Mike don't get him. Maybe you could help. Your squad isn't going."

"Yes, sir." I saluted unemotionally but inside I was excited but nervous at the same time. I've never been to the Underground and to go catch and threaten someone I admire is... Weird but exciting.

I got my horse and rode with Erwin them to the Underground. Keith has already told my squad that I'm going with them so I don't need to worry.

Once we were there, we got into our positions. Levi and his friends were now in the air running from the military while We were following behind.

Levi did some impressive tricks which made the military police lose their balance. 'Stupid idiots...' I thought.

Erwin tried getting closer to Levi in which he kinda failed but Levi did see his face and his uniform so now he and his friends know that we, the scouts, are here.

Levi's friends went in opposite directions and Erwin's squad following behind them while me, Erwin and Mike followed Levi.

I knew where he was going ,thanks to the anime, so I follow my own rules. I changed direction which left Erwin and Mike confused but still followed through the plan.

I, on the other hand headed to where Levi will appear out of the dark and abandoned house. Once he was out, I flew towards him which left him a little surprised. I pretended to swing my swords at him but Levi Dodge but what he didn't know was that I was going to try and pin him to the ground.

We tackled for a while in which my hood flew off and revealed my face but I didn't care right now. I almost got him until he kicked me right in the stomach. And let me tell you this... It FREAKEND HURT!!!

He got away and I was left alone for a while just to get my bearings right. I flew towards the place Mike almost had him until Erwin saved his ass. Erwin had a sword to Levi's throat and Levi tried to get free. Erwin talked a little before his friends came and Levi surrender.

I took out the hand cuffs and cuffed his friends, even though I didn't want to, then I cuffed Levi. We caught each others eyes for a moment before I snapped my eyes towards Mike and walked towards him. Levi and his friends were on their knees while Erwin asked them questions.

To be honest I wanted to talk and defend them but that would be unprofessional of me right now. Miche shoved Levi's head to the mud which left me angry at him but I composed myself.

Erwin asked again and this time Levi's friends started talking. After a few minutes of chatting Levi finally decided to join the scouts with his friends.

I unlocked their cuffs after a while of discussing. I was about to uncuff Levi before seeing his filthy face. I clicked my tongue and took out my small towel, that I brought just for in case.

"Please stay still so I can wipe off the mud."

"Tsk, I can do it myself if you just uncuff me."

I clicked my tongue,"I'd rather do something to show that I actually care and feel bad for you and your friends rather then to kick the living shit out of Miche and Erwin for doing that to you. Well actually I'm still going to do that, I just got irretated of the fact that your face is covered in mud. Honesty you are human too, show some respect Erwin." I said speaking to myself on that last part.

Levi stayed silent letting me clean of the mud on his face and hair. After doing a perfect job, I uncuffed Levi and turned to him and his friends.

"I'm sorry about everything... Next time I'll kick the living shit out of Erwin and Mike." And that is what I'm about to do. I walked back to Mike so that I can give him a piece of my mind before I was interrupted.

"Um Excuse me!" Isabel said.

I turned around only to be met with Isabel, Farlan and Levi in front of me,"What?"

"What's your name?"

"Why?"

"Well you just look like someone we could probably trust and besides you cleaned up Levi-bro!"

"No problem and the name's (y/n)..."

"Our names are-"

"I already know your names"

"Wait, how do you know?!" Farlan asked.

"Files." I quickly answered.

"Well, anyway thanks for saying sorry..."

I nodded my head and walked towards Mike. Once I was close I flicked his head.

"What was that for?"

"Tsk that's for shoving Levi in mud. I mean seriously Mike!"

"How else are we going to let them talk? (Y/n) I understand-"

"Your cleaning the mess hall with Erwin tonight"

"What's this with cleaning the mess hall?" Erwin asked.

I then stomped my foot on Erwin's.

"Ouch! What the hell, (Y/n)?!"

"You're cleaning the mess hall with Mike because you both are pricks!"

And with that I left. I flew back out of the underground and waited for the others to come. I got my horse ready and waited. After about 5 minutes of waiting they finally came.

Isabel had to ride with some other girl, Farlan with this other dude and Levi with me. I blushed a little and my heart was beating fast but I didn't show it.

'Geez... This is going to be a long day...'
