Lost... (AOT Levi x Fem!Reader)

Love them so much

I woke up with the sun in my face and heard a few snores. I then remembered that it was a free day today because everyone had to rest after the expedition. The Commander himself said so yesterday.

I got up but instantly fell down, Luckily I didn't wake anyone up. I looked back at my legs and saw a bandage on my right knee and a smaller bandage on my left ankle. I then remembered that I went to the infirmary before I went to bed.

I got up again and use the wall for support to get me to the showers. After a few minutes of showering I got dressed into some comfy clothes. To be precise a black long-sleeve shirt and pants with the Scout's boots.

I got to my bed and made it up neatly. I looked up at Lilith's bunk bed and saw something underneath the pillow. I climbed up and took out a medium sized box. It was Lilith. There was a small letter on it:"Dear (y/n). If you're reading this then you took the present without my permission. Ah well what the hell! Just open it already!"

I opened it and saw another letter, this time it wasn't as small as the first one. I opened it and read:"Dear (y/n). Hope you like the present! (F/n) and (o/f/n) said we should give it to you on your birthday but I refused. Because I couldn't wait that long so we decided to give you this as a gift for believing in us and to stop worrying! See we're here and alive! Yahoo!!! Anyway it has lots of stuff on it so I hope you like and don't worry you don't need to charge it... Btw you have to take selfie's with us! Please!!! Thank you, love you!!!

I looked at the gifts and saw a phone but on top of the phone was a heart locket cover in a small white blanket. I opened the locket and saw photos of my best friends smiling and my family.

Tears started streaming down my face...

I took the locket and hugged it. Moments passed by of hugging the tiny locket and remembering the good old times, I put the locket around my neck and admired it for a minute. It was absolutely perfect.

"I love it, thank you Lilith..." I whispered.

I took the phone and unlocked it. I saw a few things I liked but I wanted to check it out later. I'm too tired. I went to Settings and locked my phone with a secret code only I knew.

I got of the bed, sat the phone back in its box and slid it underneath my bed. "Hopefully nobody will look for it... I'll look for another hiding spot later.... Although... I do wonder if they..." I whispered and looked at the side of my best friends's bunk beds.

I walked over to the beds and saw something underneath the bed. It was two (f/c) boxes. Both medium sized. I took it out and sat on the floor. I opened the one from (f/n) first, only to be greeted by another letter,"Dear (N/n). I hope you like the present. Lilith begged us to give it to you after the expedition. Gosh knows why but... Okay listen I know it's a bit stupid but I saw it and thought of you. I mean you are cute and cuddly and warm. Anyway love you."

I looked inside the box and saw a (Your choice) stuffed animal. It was the cutest thing ever! I hugged it with a small smile on my face and kissed it's forehead," I promise I'll protect and keep/sleep with you." I whispered.

I looked over at (o/f/n)'s box and opened it, only to find yet another letter but underneath that letter was something soft. It was more softer the the stuffed animal. I opened the letter and read,"Well well well I see you've found this letter... Prepare to be amazed!!! I really hope you like it and I really hope you keep warm underneath it! I don't want a freezed soul sister! They say here that you should give it to the person you love or something but I do truly love you. You've been there for me... For all of us and now... Now I get to show you each and every day how lucky I am to have a best friend like you. Love you lots and please wear it everyday!!! Especially in winter because for the love of anime I don't know how you get more colder than me. Like seriously girl whatcha body's problem with the cold!?"

I chuckled at my best friend's letter and took out the gift. It was a (f/c) scarf. I threw it on and hugged it tight. I may be smiling a little right now but inside I was crying. Crying tears of happiness and sadness. Happiness because they got me a gift even though it wasn't my birthday. And Sadness because I can't hug and thank them personality... I truly wished they were here right now because then I could hug them and go out with them today to repay them... But I can't...

They're not here... I can't hug and thank them for everything they've done... I can't tell them how much I love them... I'm really never going to see them again...
