The next day was quiet. Mostly me. My squad noticed this but were unsure of what to do. I'm actually kinda grateful they're not asking me.

It was in the middle of the day and we were training hand-to-hand combat. I've been training Lillypad most of my time because she's been struggling with it. Although her 3DMG is quite impressive. Better then Sam's actually.

I haven't seen Levi and his friends for a while now and for some reason it concerns me and angers me. I mean they're not even going to apologise?!

I held Lillypad on the ground with full force, not noticing I was hurting her.

"Cap....tain... You're.... Hurting-"

I quickly broke out of my trans,"Oh shit! I'm sorry Lillypad-"

She coughed before cutting me off,"No, no, it's fine." She looked at me with concern and said," Captain... Are you okay? You seem... Upset."

I sighed,"Nothing... Just... Stressed."

"About?"

I sighed again before running a hand through my hair,"Don't worry about it okay..."

She was about to protest before Victoria throw Adam hard on the ground that the whole place could only hear Adam yelp from the impact.

"S...shit... Fuck... Vic... Ugh!" Adam said weakly, trying to stand before hitting his head on the ground.

"Damnit Victoria! You could've killed him!" Sam yelled running to Adam to check if he's okay. She rolled her eyes then looked at me before walking away.

"Vicki!" Lillypad yelled. Sam was about to run after her but I stopped them,"Leave her."

"What?! She could've-"

"Cadet! I said enough." I said before getting up and walking towards Adam. I looked down at him and asked,"Adam, can you move?"

"Y...yea..." He said getting up slowly. Lillypad helped him up before I spoke,"Lillypad, please take Adam to the infirmary."

"Yes captain." She said and walked away with Adam hanging on her and trying to walk normally.

"This is fucking great. You and my sister are acting weird. What? Is it you two's time of the month or something?!" Sam yelled before stomping away.

I let him go and hope he'd calm down. I walked in the direction of Victoria and searched for her. The look she gave me was like she was saying,"I'm going but... If you don't mind I'd like to talk to you about it." Or something.

I searched for a while before coming to a stop. It was outside. I followed my feet and it led me straight to her. She was sitting by a tree with her knees up and her face buried into her knees.

"Victoria...?" I whispered but just loud enough for only her to hear. She flindged, looking up at me. It looked like she was about to cry,"Captain..."

I sat down next to her,"What's up? You look like you're about to cry." She laid her head on my shoulder and whispered,"I'm sorry... It's just... "

She closed her eyes and sighed heavily,"Cap... Have you ever... Been in love?" I raised a brow and said,"Kinda? Why do you ask?"

"Because..." She sighed and buried her head into my shoulder, clearly embarrassed.

"I'm in love... With Adam..."

My eyes widened. I couldn't believe it. Throughout the time I've been a captain, I've always saw and thought Victoria disliked Adam. They're always the ones arguing. They're always challenging each other. They sometimes call each other names. They are almost completely the opposite of each other.
