Due to tiredness from having to look after the rest of her ill family, Marva Lynn accidentally forgets to pay for Nolan's bottle of Bourbon when shopping at the convenience store.

Marva Lynn is almost immediately surrounded by an unusually high number of armed police and then arrested for shoplifting. The town, of course, overreacts to this, with Marva Lynn being treated like a pariah and regarded as a hardened criminal.

Naturally, the family hires the lawyer to defend Marva Lynn at her trial, and as usual, he loses the case.

Marva Lynn is sentenced to 30 days imprisonment at St. Boniface Women's Prison. Marva Lynn makes friends with some of the inmates such as her cellmate, Phyllis Phillips. Phyllis was killed by her husband with a screwdriver, and a biggest sledgehammer. The women guard told Phyllis that Phyllis' mom passed away, and Phyllis is in shock, she punches four guards, and they take her to solitary confinement for 3 months. Marva Lynn has a new cellmate named Annie.

Meanwhile, Marva Lynn's absence is felt at home as Nolan struggles to cope without her, and the family home is in a dreadful state. After 30 days in prison, Marva Lynn was released from good behavior.

As the welcome back sign came, Paul, Grady, Ed, Fran, Bill, Mick, Roy, Fred, Karl and Milt told Marva Lynn about the instructions of being dizzy and tiredness.
