So It's Come to This

The story begins on April Fools' Day. Nolan is playing pranks on Kevin throughout the day, including putting duct tape over his eyes before he wakes up, and placing sour milk in the refrigerator for Kevin to take. Kevin, angered by the numerous tricks he has fallen for, attempts to get revenge by shaking up a beer can in a paint shaker. When Nolan opens the beer, it results in a massive explosion that severely injures him, and nearly destroys the house. Nolan is then driven to the hospital.

Now the ten cousins Paul, Grady, Ed, Fran, Bill, Mick, Roy, Fred, Karl and Milt told a story about hanging out, although Paul explains that his three year old son Randy decided to be a football player. Next, Grady thinks Nancy is pregnant, and they are expecting their first child. Ed usually plays with his sons Don and Kevin. Fran and Jeanne had a huge fight about the bar brawl, and Laurie was very upset. Bill held two boys while watching TV, and Carroll was really shocking. Mick was playing guitar, singing a love song to Kay. Roy thinks Del is pregnant, and they are expecting their second child, with Lyle joining in. Fred got his kicking skills and little Greg is too little to join. Karl and Lynn heads to Nashville, and Milt and Karen decided to have the baby, however, it was too late.

Kevin confesses that he made the beer can explode. An outraged Nolan wakes up and strangles his son while the rest of his family stand next to the bed, relieved he is finally awake, and Milt told Nolan and Kevin to stop strangling, and the rest of the cousins arrived to check on Nolan. The nurse told the cousins to get out, and it says 10 visitors.
