On Thanksgiving Day, Lisa is making a centerpiece for Thanksgiving which honors women. Meanwhile, Kevin is in the kitchen with Marva Lynn while cooking Thanksgiving dinner, while Nolan watches the football game on TV.
While Marva Lynn's mother and twin sisters arrive and assemble at the table, Lisa brings in her carefully-crafted centerpiece and proudly presents it. Kevin brings in the turkey, and he complains that the centerpiece is "taking up real value estate" for the turkey. Kevin and Lisa descend into chaos, causing the centerpiece to get thrown into the fireplace and quickly burn to a cinder. The siblings are then separated by Marva Lynn and Nolan. Lisa runs upstairs to her room in tears and an angry Nolan sends Kevin to his room without Thanksgiving dinner and Marva Lynn tells Kevin that he ruined Thanksgiving, and she told him no Christmas.
Later that night, Kevin runs away. The next morning, the officers grabs Kevin to go to reform school for boys. Nolan is supposed to coach for tonight, however, he told the officers about him, and sends Kevin home. Later that night, Nolan did coach between St. Boniface and Long Lake, but it's a tie.
Paul, Grady, Ed, Fran, Bill, Mick and Roy finally asked Nolan about Kevin's disappearance and he all did.
