One of them had a pointy hat and a green dress. Another one had a black robe and black longish hair. And the third one, which I was told was Dumbledore had a very long beard and a nightgown kind of looking thing.

They all looked very weird but they seemed to have a personality. They seemed cool and nice.

As we got closer they started waving at us, well except for the one with the black robe. They all seemed very welcoming.

When we finally landed, and the door was opened, the view that we saw was even cooler than from up in the air. All the high narrow windows and all the towers. It was so big! It was very magical.

When we were finally done admiring the huge school we finally stepped out of the carriage. We were right away welcomed by Dumbledore.

The guy who controlled the carriage took out our suitcases and after a couple of words left.

"Welcome to Hogwarts!" Dumbledore said spreading his arms.

"This is professor Snape, he will be teaching potions," he introduced us to the guy with the black robe.

He didn't say anything and just looked down at us. I mean he was pretty tall tho.

"And this is professor McGonagall," he introduced the lady with a pointy hat. "Nice to have you here!" She said as she sent us a kind smile.

We also introduced ourselves, but it seemed like they already knew who we were. I mean obviously, our parents had talked to Dumbledore.

"Step right in. We will be having a feast in the great hall, but before that, we will have a sorting ceremony for you two," Dumbledore explained.

I didn't exactly know what that was like, because we never had it, but I was excited. I wanted to know where I would go. "Follow me," said Professor McGonagall.

Dumbledore and Snape had gone inside already and now also did we. It was exciting.

When the door opened it was a huge corridor. There were very high ceilings and beautiful chandeliers hanging from it.

We then started walking towards the great hall I think. "Y/n, what if we're sorted into different houses?" Hayes seemed worried.

"I don't know. Let's just hope it doesn't happen," I responded as we kept walking. We made it to a huge door which was closed, but we could hear people talking from behind the door.

Then McGonagall opened the door and we walked in. Everyone instantly turned their heads to look at us. In the room, there were a lot of people. They were all wearing different colored robes and sitting separately from others. The ceiling looked like stary night and it was so beautiful.

I and Hayes walked behind McGonagall and stopped a bit before the teacher's table. There was a chair standing and it had a hat placed on it. The hat looked very old and brown. It seemed to have a face. I think that was the sorting hat.

McGonagall stepped forward and said that if she calls our name we would step forward, sit on the chair, and get sorted. I right away looked at Hayes, hoping that we would get into the same house.

I looked around in the hall and everyone seemed excited. They seemed to really care which house we will be sorted into.

"Hayes Windsor!" McGonagall said and Hayes stepped forward and took a seat on the chair. McGonagall then placed the hat on his head and it started talking.

"Interesting. Smart and very ambitious. Very well. Better be Slytherin!" The hat said after being placed on his head.

McGonagall took the hat off of his head and he walked to the table where people were wearing green robes. The Slytherins were cheering, but others not too much.

"Y/n Y/ln!" McGonagall then said and I stepped forward and sat on the chair.

As I sat down on the chair, everyone's looks turned to me. Everyone seemed to really want to know where I will be sorted. I was hoping for Slytherin since that's where Hayes got.

"Please be Slytherin, please be Slytherin," I was whispering as I kept my fingers crossed on my lap.

"Slytherin!" The hat screamed and the Slytherins screamed again.

People in the other houses seemed to be kind of disappointed, but I was so happy to be a Slytherin. I quickly got up from the chair and walked to my table. I sat down next to Hayes and I smiled at him.

"Yess," I said quietly and Hayes chuckled. Then Dumbledore made a little speech and said let the feast begin. Right after that, all the food appeared and everyone went crazy. Was all of that for us?

Everyone was eating chicken with their hands. You don't see that in Beauxbatons. But the food was delicious. Honestly, it was a bit better than in Beauxbatons and I was very happy about it.

"Which school did you go to before Hogwarts?" One of the boys at our table asked. "Oh, we went to Beauxbatons," I smiled and responded.

"Oh cool, I'm Blaise Zabini by the way," he introduced himself.

"Nice to meet you," I said. He seemed very nice. I don't know why I have heard people telling me that Slytherins are mean. Didn't seem like that to me.

After the feast, we had to go to our common room. Hayes and I followed the other Slytherins into the dungeons. They had to say a password to get in and then we walked in. It looked amazing. It was quite dark, but the light was greenish.

There was a big fireplace and in front of there, there were black leather sofas. They looked very cool. There was also a table and chairs for studying and just chilling I think.

"We're under the lake actually," said Blaise. "Wait really!? That is so cool," I got excited. I had never been in a room like this.

"Follow me to your dorms," said the Slytherin prefect.
