"Y/n I see something's wrong. You ran out of class and now I find you here crying. Tell me," he had a weirdly comforting tone.
"There is nothing wrong Draco. Just stop asking, please," I turned my head away from him.
From the corner of my eye I saw Harry, Ron and Hermione walking our way. "Why you crying? You got your potion bottled," Ron said as they walked up to us. To that I demonstratively rolled my eyes.
"You, Weasley shut up," Draco noticed my annoyance and stood up. Ron didn't move his ground. "Just leave me alone for a second, okay?" I looked at them all, got up and started walking towards the Herbology classroom.
"Shouldn't you be worrying about other things Weaselbee?" I heard Draco say to Ron and then he ran after me.
"Y/n, wait up!" He grabbed my shoulder and stopped me. "What part of 'leave me alone' did you not understand, Malfoy?" I turned and looked him straight in the eye.
"Even if your not gonna tell me what's wrong, I will not leave you alone," he said.
"Why? I don't need a babysitter," I replied crossing my arms. "I'm not a babysitter. I'm just protecting you," he spat. I could tell he was getting a little mad.
"Why do you have to protect me?!" I was confused and also angry. "Because you can't fucking do it yourself!" his voice got a lot louder. Why was he getting so mad?
"I can take care of myself Malfoy, and I don't need some kind of blondie next to me twenty four seven!" I yelled at him and walked away. I was so done with him!
"I can leave!" He yelled and widened his arms at me. "Then fucking leave!" I yelled back.
He didn't yell anything and turning around I saw him walking away. Glad I got rid of him.
Now I had to get to class, but I wasn't going to. Instead, even surprisingly to me, I went towards potions classroom.
I didn't care if Snape had a lesson or not, he had to talk to me, now!
I swung the classroom door open without even knocking first. "I wanna talk!" I said stepping in.
I took a quick look at the empty classroom and walked up to him. "Y/n, you should be in Herbology," he said.
"Yeah and you should've been in my life, so I guess we're both in the wrong," I crossed my arms. Hopefully that conversation was gonna bring me some kind of peace.
"Y/n-" I didn't let him speak. "So, now that it is confirmed that you are... well you know, I want to know who my mother is. And before you could come up with stupid excuses, I need to know!" I said with one breath.
"Y/n, I cannot tell you who your mother is," he still kept up with this. "Why? Is it another teacher?" I looked at him terrified for the answer. The thought of it was gross. Who could it be?
"No," he said shortly. "In Azkaban?" I kept wondering. "I can't tell you anything about your mother Y/n, you have to understand," he sounded persuasive. But not persuasive enough.
"You can't just leave me in the dark. I have to have a mom," I said getting frustrated.
"You have a mom, but she's not around anymore," he finally said something more. "She's dead?!" I looked confused. I didn't expect that.
"No! She doesn't live anywhere near," he said with a long pause. Why was it so hard for him to tell me who it was. It can't get any worse anyway, can it?
"Well if you won't tell me anything else about her I'll leave," I said trying to get him to tell me more. "Once you'll understand," he said quietly.
"Not today. Bye," I left right away and slammed the door shut. But I wasn't done. I grabbed the door open again.
