What is Draco talking about? I thought to myself as I heard it. "Oh Y/n, come here," Theo noticed me standing a little away from them. He put his hand out my way.
Draco turned to face me too and instantly pulled back a little. He lowered his wand to his side.
I stepped next to them and Theo pulled me closer to him putting his hand around my shoulder. "What plan were you talking about?" Theo asked Draco, raising his eyebrow.
Draco barely noticeably squinted his eyes at Theo and then turned to me. I didn't want to look back at him, so I turned my look away from him.
"If you have anything else to say we'd like to go to dinner," Theo said smiling.
I didn't look at Draco until Theo led me into the common room. I turned my head to look at him. He followed us into the great hall. His eyes were glued to mine, and I couldn't turn away.
But luckily Theo's hand on my cheek snapped me out of that trance. "What is it princess?" He asked looking down at me and turning my head to look at him.
"Oh nothing I'm just a little on edge," I said quickly.
"On edge? Why?" He asked as we sat down at the table with Hay, Ly, Blaise and Pansy. "Who's on edge?" Ly looked up from her plate.
"What is it?" Theo asked placing his hand on my thigh. I looked at his a bit confused. That was new.
"Well when I was walking in the forest I heard someone following me, like footsteps," I explained.
"Who was it?" Hay asked right away.
"That's the thing," I pointed my finger at him. "I saw no one,"
"Maybe it was an animal?" Pansy shrugged.
"That's what I thought. But that's the scary part about it. When I started coming back, I saw there were two pairs of footprints on the snow that had been untouched when I went there. Last time I checked I had two legs," I continued.
"Oh and these footprints weren't like kind of messy and mixed with mine. They were neatly next to my steps. Almost like someone had walked next to me the whole time," I looked everyone in the eyes.
"Wait really?! And you have no idea who it was?" Ly leaned on the table a little and looked at me worried.
"No idea. The footprints started in the forest, because when I came back then outside of the forest there were only mine on the snow," I responded with a shrug.
"Wait that is actually very scary. What if it's dangerous," Ly was wondering.
"Well I don't know. I ran most of the way out of there because I was scared but nothing exactly happened," I said.
"Y/n," Theo addressed me. "Yeah?"
"Do you talk to yourself loudly? Like what you're thinking, do you say it out loud when you're alone?" He asked having his eyebrows lowered.
"You think I just freaked myself out?" I was a little mad that he would even think that.
"No just, do you?"
"I don't," I said shortly.
"That is pretty weird," Pansy from over the table agreed too.
"Next time I'll come with you alright?" Theo said squeezing my thigh in comforting manner.
"Us too," Ly pointed at her Hay and Blaise.
I saw how Pansy rolled her eyes a little. She was excluded. But to be fair, would she actually come with us? Probably not.
