I didn't even wipe my tears before opening the door to Draco.

For a good half a minute, we stared at each other, while he was still standing in the hallway.

Seeing him never got easier. Will it ever? Will the feelings ever go away?

"I need you to know the truth. After I tell you, you can decide what happens to us, but I need you to know," he said, his grey eyes burning up.

"Okay," even surprisingly to me I let him in.

He walked in as I closed the door behind him. He stood near the end of the bed. I slowly walked towards him, stopping next to him. I sat down on the ground.

He looked at me a little lost, but did the same, sitting right next to me.

"So what do you want me to know?" I asked calmly, too tired to get mad or throw him out of here.

"I, I want you to know that," he brought his knees up and placed his arms on top of them. He was looking straight ahead.

I did the same, bringing my legs up and wrapping my arms around them, resting my chin on my knee.

"I never stopped loving you Y/n," he said first, not turning to look at me.

"And the whole Estrid thing, it was to protect you. I tried to warn you about Theo,"

"You knew what they were planning?" I turned to look at him.

"I did, but I thought I can protect you from them. That I can get them to leave you alone, but they didn't keep their word," he turned his head to look at me too.

"They were supposed to leave you alone if I do. I didn't know it was their stupid trick just to get me out of the way."

"Why didn't you tell me when Theo started talking to me? You must've known then already," I tilted my head.

"I tried to at first, but later he-," he cut himself off and turned his head back ahead to stare at a wall.

"He what? What did he do?" I leaned a little closer to him, to get my answer.

"He, he threatened to hurt you Y/n. I, I mean, I couldn't risk it, there was no way," he shook his head, still not looking at me.

"But Estrid? Why did you need her?"

"It needed to be realistic. You wouldn't believe me if I just stopped talking to you and locked myself in my room,"

"Was this Theo's idea?"

He shook his head to that. Who else's idea could that have been? Maybe Estrid's herself? But maybe...

"His dad's?"

He nodded.

"Did they threaten Snape too?" I needed to know the answer to that.

Yes, Snape was the first one to warn me about Theo and his dad, but he also let it happen at first.

He nodded again, staring blankly.

"Y/n, I can't let them do this to you," he turned to me pretty roughly.

"What?" I asked quietly.

I was pretty hopeless, so I figured I'd at least know what was going to happen before it does. There was nothing else I could do now, was there?

He stared me in the eyes, turning his body a few inches my way. His breaths got quicker but heavier.

He undid the button on his black blazer and started taking it off. He threw it in front of our feet on the floor and started working on the button on the bottom of his left sleeve.
