Three days have passed. Throughout this time me and Rickon have gotten closer than ever. We would go everywhere together.
But these three days I also ignored Draco fully. I had no intention to talk to him after what he did, so I didn't. Rickon agreed with me. He thought that the letters thing was very low.
But it's not like he didn't try to talk to me. He did. A lot less, when he saw that I was ignoring him, but at the same time more intensly. But that had stopped now. I guess he got used to it. That's how it was gonna be in the future.
With friends it was hard. Since me and Draco are in the same friend group, it was a bit difficult in class, but mostly I just sat with Rickon and in potions class we moved to another table where Harry, Hermione and Ron were.
I had actually started to get along with them really well, now that there was no Draco, and also Ron liked me now. Everything was going surprisingly well since I told Rickon everything. Maybe that's what I needed.
Today in potions class Snape wanted to talk to Rickon. Not sure why, I mean our potion was going really well. We were halfway done, and I believe pretty right too.
This was time where I had to join Blaise, Hayes and Ly on going to the other class. I decided that they are my friends. I don't care if Draco is there or not, I still want my friends, and if he doesn't like it, he can go.
"What did Snape want from Rickon?" Hayes asked when we were walking to our next class. "Not sure," I shrugged. I wanted to know as well.
"You think he would come to the next class?" Ly was wondering. "I believe so. Maybe he's just gonna be a little late," I said as we stepped into the transfiguration classroom.
To my surprise he actually didn't come to the transfiguration. I was confused on why, but maybe Snape had talked to him for so long, so he thought he could skip the last class.
Well we set our steps to the common room, and he was not there either. His dorm was locked, but that could be anyone who lives there also.
I was a little worried. Where would Rickon go? He doesn't even know where everything is in this school yet. And I doubt he would go on a walk all by himself.
"Do you know where Rickon is?" I walked up to Blaise, Ly and Hayes. Draco's face obviously lit up hearing that I don't know where he is. Did he have something to do with it?
"No," everyone said. "But can you help me look. He doesn't even know where everything is in this school," I said hoping to get help. "I'm kind of tired," Blaise said. And Ly and Hayes agreed!
"Are you kidding me!? You went out of your way to look for Malfoy, and now you can't help me?!" I pointed at Draco, who was looking at me with an innocent face.
"Doesn't matter!" I yelled at them and walked to my dorm.
I know I didn't help look for Draco, but it was unnecessary! But now that it's actually necessary they say no?!
I stayed in my dorm hoping he would turn up to his dorm. From time to time I went to knock on the door but no one answered.
Every time someone passed my door I poked my head out through the door to see who it was. It was never Rickon.
It went on for HOURS! Soon it was nighttime and people gathered up to their dorms to go to bed. I was still very worried about Rickon. "Ly, do you think Rickon's fine?" I aksed quietly when Ly layed down on her bed.
"I think he's in his room," she said. "No I knocked on the door and no one answered," I said. "Maybe he just has a bad day and doesn't want to talk to anyone," she suggested.
"Possible, but shouldn't he still talk to me?" I frowned. "Maybe he doesn't want to seem weak to you, I don't know. I barely even know him," she said. That actually kind of made sense, but I wasn't sure.
"Should I check on him again?" I aksed. "If he didn't respond to you the whole day, then I doubt that he's gonna do that now. You'll talk in the morning. Just go to sleep," she said. "Fine," I got to bed as well. Ly was right, if he didn't say anything before, why would he do that now?
In the morning I got ready in a rush and ran to the common room to see if Rickon was there already. He wasn't. Maybe I was early?
I approached his dorm door and knocked on it. "Rickon?" I said from outside of the door. "Y/n?" Some guy opened the door. "Yeah, is Rickon in here still?" I aksed.
"Oh Rickon left early. He said he had to do something," the guy said. "Do what?" I aksed. "I didn't ask, sorry," "It's fine,"
"Where's Rickon?" Hayes asked when he Blaise and Draco joined me in the common room. "Oh he had to do something," I said trying to seem like I totally knew what.
"Where's Ly?" Hayes asked seeing that I was alone. "You mostly get ready longer than her," he added. "I didn't have any more sleep so I woke up a little earlier than others," I said. Which was true. Draco sent me a questionable look, but at least I didn't have to see his stupid smirk.
"Let's go," Ly entered the common room and we got going. Our first class, was transfiguration. I didn't see Rickon come throughout the class, but maybe he was still doing the thing he had to.
But then while walking to the great hall to have lunch I saw Rickon walking a little in front of me. "Rickon!" He didn't turn around when I said his name. "Rickon," I went and grabbed his hand.
For some reason he pulled his hand away and didn't look at me. He kept walking, but I just stayed there. Wondering what's wrong.
Did I do something? Did something go badly? I had no idea. "So what's with Rickon?" Blaise asked when they caught up to me. "Oh he's just eating lunch with others," I tried to brush it off.
"Oh okay," Blaise shrugged and went into the great hall. Others didn't seem to really care that much. Did they not care about Rickon at all?
"Did someone do the potions homework?" Ly asked like nothing happened. "Y/n, did you do it?" She turned to me. "Oh I forgot, sorry," I tried to go along with it.
"Well our next class is potions so we have to figure something out," Ly said. "I have it done," Draco said and gave Ly his paper.
"Oh thank God!" She grabbed her quill and copied it. "Care to make a couple other copies of it?" Blaise asked jokinlgy. "Do I look?" She turned to him and slid the paper in front of him when she was done
Blaise did the same and copied Draco's work. I guess I was the only one who didn't have the homework now. But in potions it didn't matter much anyway.
"I get it you're Snape's favorite student, but maybe you should copy too," Ly said. "No thank you," I declined. Draco put the paper back into his bag and everyone finally started eating.
I was looking for Rickon, and who would he sit with. I don't think he really knew anyone else in here that well, but I saw him coming in here.
There he is! He was sitting with people I don't even know. I mean I had seen them, but I didn't know their names. That was a little weird, but if that's what he had to do...
"Let's go," Hayes said being the last one to stop eating. We got up the table and walked out of the great hall. We were always one of the last ones to leave the great hall, because Hayes took so long to finish his lunch.
"Do you guys have the other part of the homework done yourself?" Draco asked when we got to the dungeons. Everyone's mood just dropped with a second. It was a bit funny.
"Wait, there is something else?" They said at the same time. "Yeah, I thought you got that already," Draco said. "No! Give it to us!" Ly said and when Draco gave her the paper, they all gathered next to a wall to start writing it. I can already see how messy it was gonna be.
"Don't you have to do your homework?" One Slytherin guy asked. Why did he think that I hadn't, so I just looked at him with a slight frown.
"Oh yeah, I forgot. I guess you don't have to work that hard in your daddy's class," he smirked.
