Protective [D.M]

We were out building stuff out of snow until it got dark outside. Everyone was exhausted. We went inside and mrs Weasley was waiting for us with hot tea and Christmas cookies. They tasted even better than before.

Soon everyone went to their rooms to go to bed. It was a nice night. There was a full moon. The light was dodging the blinds and shone right at my face. So pretty.

But I didn't want to sleep yet. I was thinking about Draco. I missed him.  I was fidgeting the ring he got me as I was thinkning about what he was doing right now.

Wait! I didn't even read the letters yet, I all of a sudden remembered. I quickly took the letters into my hand. But it was too dark in the room and I couldn't wake Ginny up. She was sleeping so peacefully.

I quietly put on the sweater I got as a gift and got out of the room. The house was quiet, only the little creaks when I took another step on the stairs. I got to the front door, quickly put on warm boots and went outside.

The moon shone even brighter once I sat down on the bench close to the house. I loved watching the moon when it got dark. I couldn't really do it in Hogwarts that much tho, since we were under water. But sometimes even through the water you can see a little moonlight fighting to get through.

I took Snape's letter out of the envelope first since I had already opened it. Under the moonlight I saw the text clearly.

It was so sweet of him to send me something for Christmas. I think he really cares, at least now. I was looking at the bracelet shining in the moonlight. It was beautiful.

I then opened the next letter. It even smelled like Draco and gosh how I missed that smell. I really did.

It was a nicely written long letter. To be honest it made me chuckle a little. Sorry. We have been apart for a week and I already really really missed him. I wish he was here and got to share all the fun things we have done. I think he would have liked to build a snowman with us.

I turned my look back on the moon, thinking if he's looking at it right now? I wonder if somewhere in the Malfoy Manor, he's looking out of the window and sees how beautiful the moon is today.
