"Wait what! Snape? Your dad? But who are your parents then. I mean the ones you thought that were?" He looked at me eyes wide open.
"Snape said that they are my godparents," I explained. "Wait both? Then who is your mother? Do you know?" He asked.
"I tried to get Snape to tell me, but he wouldn't. He said that my mom is away, so I guess she lives somewhere else. Snape also gave me this," I showed him the necklace. "He said it's was my mother's,"
"Oh wow. That is..." he stopped. "Please don't say anything bad," I said quickly, not knowing if I could take it.
"No it's just, I didn't expect that," he looked far into the forest. "But it doesn't change anything, right?"
"Why would it? It doesn't matter who your parents are, I want you to know that," he grabbed my face and looked me deep in the eyes. "I only care about you," he smiled tucking a piece of hair behind my ear.
He pulled me into a tight warm hug and repeated that he doesn't care. It felt so good to finally say that out loud. I had kept it in for so long and now finally someone other than me knew, someone who I knew I could trust with my life.
We walked deeper into the woods and came back right before it got dark. It was refreshing to talk to someone about deep things and see what they think about them. And also my feelings. I felt a lot lighter getting to talk about my feelings, that I had been burying deep inside for so long.
"We should go on a walk more often Rick, it was very refreshing," I said when we got out of the forest and walked towards the castle my hand in his. "I liked it too," he said.
It was weird that when we left we barely saw anyone and when we came back there wasn't many people around either. "Mister Jenkins, you are needed in the headmaster's office," Professor Snape approached us when we got to the dungeons.
"Oh, where excactly is the headmaster's office Professor?" He asked. "Follow me," Snape said and walked out of the dungeons. "See you in the common room!" I said and he waved and left.
I wonder why did Dumbeldore want to talk to him. Maybe it's because he's new? He never wanted to speak to me.
"So you found him?" I asked walking into the common room and seeing others back. They nodded without saying a word. "Why ya'll look like he's dead?" I was confused.
"Uh," was all that Blaise said. "Wait, is he!?" I couldn't read his emotion.
"No!" Hayes said. "Well then it's fine," I sat down on the sofa next to Devil. Pansy wasn't there so I pet her. Or so I thought at least. "So where is he?" I asked.
"He's in his room," Blaise said quietly. "Hm," I raised eyebrows and nodded. "Y/n, maybe you shou-" "No!" I interrupted Blaise.
"I know what you're going to say, and the answer is no. I don't want the last time to repeat itself," I said. "What exactly happened last time?" I heard Pansy's voice from behind me.
I quickly took my hand off of Devil and turned around. "None of your business," I said and turned back around.
"I guess I'm gonna go wait for Rickon," I said getting up from the sofas and walking to his dorm. I was bored so might as well just hang around in his room.
I sat down on his bed and looked at his clothes in his suitcase. I really liked his clothes, I would wear them more often. I found a big white tshirt and I decided to put it on. It was a little big, well huge, on me, but I loved it. It was comfortable and it had his smell on it.
I then laid down on his bed and wondered when he will come back. I wanna know why he had to to go the headmaster's office. I just laid on the bed and stared at the ceiling.
I felt really happy today. I was happy that I got to talk to him. It meant a lot to me that at least I have someone that knows now.
"Oh hey Y/n, feeling cozy," Rickon opened the door and saw me lying on his bed with his tshirt. "Very," I smiled.
"Why did you go to the headmaster's office?" I asked right away. "Just some stuff since I'm new," he explained. "Not fair! I and Hayes never went there when we came," I frowned.
"Well I guess I'm special," he chuckled and layed down next to me. "Should we do our homework?" He asked.
"Oh yeah, probably, I almost forgot. I'm gonna get my stuff," I said. "I'm gonna miss you," he said from the bed as I got to the door. "I wanna see you cry," I joked. "I will,"
I closed the door and walked to my dorm. Once again there was absolutely no one in there. Were everyone always in the common room? Why? In Beauxbatons we used to chill in the dorms all the time.
I grabbed my bag from the end of my bed and got to the desk that had my books on it. I quickly grabbed the books I needed and shoved them into my bag.
"Ugh!" I jumped when I saw Draco standing in front of the door. "I don't remember letting you in," I said with sass and tried to push him away from the door. "I wanna talk Y/n," he said.
"Sure, I'll talk to you, but first I have to tell Rickon that I will not study with him," I said.
"You have to infrom your every step to him?" He asked. "I don't have to, but I want to," I pushed him away from the door and quickly left.
I think this was the time where Draco understood that I was kidding, because faster than ever he followed me. Luckily Rickon's dorm was pretty close to mine, so I quickly opened the door and closed it right before Draco would catch me.
"Everything alright?" Rickon got up from the bed. "Yeah," I said relieved and locked the door, just in case. "Got my stuff, I'm ready to begin," I threw my bag with books onto his bed and sat down on it.
We finished all our homework pretty quickly and everything seemed right. Maybe even easier when Rickon was there.
