Others had went somewhere out of the common room, so me and Aiden were the only ones there now. Well except for some people that were in their dorms. Wonder where?

"You know where they went?" I pointed at the sofa that they were sitting on earlier. "No idea," he shrugged and walked towards his dorm.

"Aiden?" I said quietly.

"Hm?" He turned around from the stairs.

"William was lying right?" I asked waiting for an assuring look at least. I was sure he was, but I kind of needed him to tell me that.

"To be honest I don't know. Haven't lived with him for a while you know," he smiled. "But if you trust Draco, then I don't think there is a problem," he said before going up the stairs.

I do trust Draco, but why would Merroy just randomly say something like that. Oh right! Because he's a dirty little liar.

But still.

What if he was right. I always thought that Draco would tell me when something like that happens, but he's been acting a little different lately.

Is it bad to think that maybe Merroy wasn't lying? Should I go check? But what do I say when there is no Estrid there and he finds out that I don't trust him. Shit.

But I want to know tho. Honestly I should be worrying about what to do when she is there. Should I just go see if they're in the potions classroom? Wait, is Snape gonna be there?

Ughhhh!!

But maybe he's not? A little impossible to be honest, but it wouldn't hurt to check. Not a lot at least.

I slowly got up from the sofa and hesitantly walked towards the exit. I wasn't sure if that was a good idea, but I was sure I could play it off once the situation would start going south.

I tried to make as little noise as possible when I was walking towards the potions classroom. My palms were getting sweaty and my mouth dry. I was nervous to open that door.

My solution was to listen if I could hear something from the other side of the door. I did hear some voices, but I couldn't tell who it were.

But I also didn't seem to hear Estrid's obnoxious voice, so that was a plus.

"Oh shi-" I let out but quickly covered my mouth when the door flew open and Snape came out of the classroom. Luckily the door covered me and he didn't notice me.

I slowly took my hand off of my mouth and breathed again. Then I grabbed the doorknob and looked over the door to see who Draco was with in there. I didn't see him.

I had to get a little closer so I took a little sneaky step into the classroom still trying to hide behind the wall. Oh there he is! I quickly took a step back.

"Y/n?" I heard Draco from the back of the class. Shit I'm busted, I thought to myself. What do I say? I was randomly just walking past the potions classroom and happened to remember that you were tutoring today.

"Someone in here?" I poked my head back into the classroom. That was the best I could come up with. I was under pressure!

"What are you doing here?" Draco smiled a little seeing me poking my head over the wall. "I got back from watching the practice and remembered that you're tutoring today." I shrugged.

"Who are you tutoring by the way?" I slipped there subtly. "Oh you know Brett's little brother? Him," he said not thinkning about it twice.

I told you that he was not tutoring Estrid. I never doubted him. Well... minor details.

"Where is he?" I asked fully stepping into the classroom. "Uh, bathroom I think," he shrugged.

"I hope you didn't make him cry!" I chuckled. "When are you done?" I asked not moving far away from the door. You never know, when you have to run.

"As soon as he gets it, but I think you should go now Y/n. I'm really trying to get this out of the way and you're distracting me," he laughed a little getting up from the table.

"Well in that case, I guess I must. Love ya," I kind of rushed out of there without hearing his reply or anything. I didn't know how long Snape was gonna be away and if I wanted to avoid him, I had to give it my best.

I quickly snuck back to the common room while constantly looking out for Snape. "We need to talk?" I heard right as I was about to enter the common room.

I mumbled the password pretending like I didn't just hear that. "Y/n?" I heard him approaching. There had to be another Y/n in here, I quickly walked through the passage.

"Shi-!" I got scared when I saw that everyone was back in the common room. In a couple of minutes?! What the heck!?

"How was the practice?" Hay asked. "It was fun. It ended like half an hour ago," I said smilingly.

"We have something to tell you Y/n," Blaise seemed very serious. "Well Hayes does," he said quickly. "Why me?" Hayes asked him quickly.

"What is it?" I sighed.

"Tell her," Blaise elbowed Hayes. "Stop it," he pushed his hand away. "Well there are some bad news Y/n," Hayes said.

"It is very hard to say, but since you are pretty much ignoring your pare-" Hayes got interrupted by Blaise. "Godparents," he corrected.

"Yeah, since you are practically ignoring your godparents they thought it was a good idea to tell me, so I would tell you," Hayes said. It made me a little nervous. What were they talking about?

"Well there is no easy way to say it-"

"Just say it!" Blaise interrupted Hayes again.

"I'm trying! Let me finish!" He turned to Blaise. "Tell her then," Blaise motioned towards me.

"You know it too, why don't you tell her?" Hayes asked. "Just tell her!" He said louder. "You do i-"

"Your grandma's cat died," Blaise burst out. "What!?" I was surprised to hear what it was about.

"That's not how we rehearsed it, see you made her upset now," Hayes looked at Blaise. "None of that was in the script. At least I told her!" Blaise pointed at himself.

Shit! Was that karma? Was that for lying that my cat died? I technically didn't say that cat. I was talking about a nonexistent one, but was that my fault?

"If you're wondering, no this could not have been your fault in any way," Blaise said the rehearsed text. "It was a car," Hayes added quietly.

"You didn't have to mention that. This is how her nonexistent one died," Blaise looked at Hayes and said quietly.

You got to be kidding me? My cat is actually dead? Because of a car?

"But as I said, it was not your fault, because there is nothing you could've done to prevent this," Hayes said quickly.

"Well except make up the same exact scenario with some other cat," I heard Pansy add from the other side of the common room.

"You're not helping Pansy," Blaise turned to her. "Wasn't trying to," she put her hands up and giggled.

"It's not karma, it's a coincidence." Blaise said trying to better what Pansy had said. But I think Pansy was right. It definitely was karma. For sure. A hundred percent.

"I'm gonna go write them," I said motioning towards my dorm. Everyone looked at me with understanding faces and I left for my dorm.

I quickly grabbed a piece of paper and a quill and started writing them a letter. Of course without mentioning the fact that it was all my fault.
