The rest of the day went by pretty quickly, considering the fact that I was mostly in my or Theo's room, because I didn't want to see anyone else that was in this house.
When it was around ten I believe, I was in Theo's room and decided to go to sleep.
"I think I'll go to bed. Good night!" I said wrapping my arms around him.
"Night," he hugged me back and sent me to his door.
The corridor was long and dark. When Theo's door closed, that cut off the last piece of light that was showing me where to go.
But I'm not dumb, I know where my room is. I walked up to the door and as soon as I was about to open it, I heard doorknob rattling. But it wasn't the one I was holding.
I looked to my left, only to see nothing there. I then turned right. All of a sudden I saw a silhouette standing a bit on my right, rattling the doorknob.
I was trying to make out who was it, but it was dark. But then, it turned to face me.
I instantly jumped back a little, scared who it might be. "Good night," I said with a slightly shaky voice. That way they don't think I'm not supposed to be here.
"Y/n?" The silhouette spoke. I instantly recognised his voice.
I didn't want to say anything in return and I quickly opened the door, rushing into my room. As soon as the door was closed I could hear footsteps right behind my door.
I was holding my fingers crossed he would not come to talk to me. I didn't want to talk to him, no matter what. It's already bad enough that he is here and I have to see him.
But as the time passed on everything got piercingly quiet. It made my ears ring.
I decided to check out if someone was still standing outside. No idea why, but that's what I did.
I walked up to the door and turned the doorknob. I couldn't push the door open. It was once again stuck.
Wait there is no way that it's stuck. I just pushed it open like five minutes ago. It wasn't even that heavy.
It had to be locked. But why? Again?
Maybe it was some kind of a thing in their family where they just lock their doors at night? But what if there's a fire? I'm just gonna die?
I rattled the doorknob a little just to be completely sure, and it indeed was locked. Hm.
Well since I had nothing better to do, I just sat down on my bed and got ready to go to bed. I was pretty tired.
All of a sudden I heard a loud kind of a knocking sound from the same direction the glass breaking sound yesterday. It instantly made me look at the direction, and with a blink of an eye I was up from my bed and standing against the wall.
I hit the wall a couple of times with my palm. I would understand something breaking, but literal knocking was weird.
I also got a hit in response. "Y/n!" I heard from the other side of the wall.
Wait there is no way!? He is literally in the room next to me?! "Are you there!?" Yelled he next.
"No!" I yelled back with a loud bang on the wall.
"Can I come there?!" I think he said next. By that time I was back to just sitting on my bed.
"No!" I shouted from the bed.
Plus the door is locked, so he couldn't come here anyway.
All of a sudden it got quiet. Too quiet. I got up from the bed and walked up to the wall to place my ear against it again to maybe hear something else.
