"You can go get some bottles, I'm almost done with stirring now," I said as I continued stirring.

"Only seriously good and working potions get to be bottled," I heard Professor Snape say while walking towards our table. I looked at him confused. "It is a good and working potion," I responded.

"I'll be the judge of it," Snape said monotony as he finally made it to our table. "Well?" I said pushing the cauldron in front of him.

I thought it was perfect. It was turquoise blue and that's what the book said it's supposed to look like. "Very well," he said looking closely into the cauldron.

"Get bottles," he monotony said as he walked away. "Yess," I said and rushed to get the bottles. "Where are the bottles?" I stopped remembering I have no idea where something is.

"They're right there, I'll help you," said Lynnet getting up from her chair and leading me to the shelf.

"Do we have to use a specific one or?" I said as I was admiring all the beautiful potion bottles. "They're labeled so I think those are the right ones," she said pointing at some bottles on the top shelf.

"Are you tall enough to reach those?" I asked eyeing the bottles that were barely seen. "No," she said. "Blaise and Hayes, come help us reach the bottles!" She said loudly.

Blaise and Hayes quickly got up from their chairs and came to us. "Which ones?" Blaise asked looking at all the bottles. "These ones," I said pointing at the bottles on the top shelf.

"Okay," he said and stretched his arms up. He luckily could reach the bottles and so did Hayes. "Here you go," said Blaise handing me two of the bottles.

Hayes also gave two to Lynnet and we got back to our table. I started pouring the potion from the cauldron into a bottle.

"You sure that's a good idea. I mean don't you want at least a little bit to end up in the bottle?" Blaise joked and looked at me.

"She's a pro," Hayes responded to him before I could even say something. "Thank you, Hayes," I said and poured the potion into the bottle. Everyone looked at it nervously, thinking I would spill.

Not a drop. Everything ended up in the bottles. As we were putting the caps on the bottles Snape walked up to us.

He looked at us and then at our bottles full of potion. "Good," he said and turned around again. "Let's be real if Snape says something is good, it is probably amazing," Lynnet said and looked at everyone smiling.

"True, Snape is so grumpy that even the love of his life would be 'good' to him," Blaise said with a completely straight face.

I looked at him and tried to keep back the laugh. He couldn't be that bad. "Was that our last class?" I asked Hayes quietly. He shrugged in response.

"Is that our last class?" I then asked Lynnet and Blaise."It is yeah," Lynnet responded and smiled. "You wanna hang out in the common room?" She then asked.

"Sure," I instantly agreed. I didn't have anything better to do today anyway so might as well. "Can we join?" Hayes asked pointing at himself and Blaise.

"Umm, I don't know..." I said. "What do you mean!?" Blaise raised his voice and smiled at me.

"I'm kidding. Of course, you can join. Is that even a question," I said chuckling a bit. They looked happy that they could join.

"There is no way that we could've gotten rid of them anyway," I jokingly whispered to Lynnet and she chuckled.

"What's funny," Blaise was curious and looked at us questioningly. "Oh nothing," Lynnet said and smiled at me.

I feel like we could be very good friends with Lynnet. She seems the nicest. As Snape got up to say that the class was dismissed everyone started packing their bags. Everyone made their way out of the classroom to their common rooms or outside.

Blaise, Hayes, Lynnet, and I walked towards the Slytherin common room. As we walked in, there was no one in there.

It was surprising because I saw other Slytherins going this way. Where did they go? Well anyway, we took our seats on the sofas and talked. We got to know each other more.

"What's everyone's favorite colors?" Lynnet asked as we kept talking. "Green," Blaise said proudly. "Obviously," he added smilingly.

"Mine is dark blue," Hayes said showing his dark blue bracelet. "Oh it's really pretty, mine is burgundy red," Lynnet said pointing at herself.

"Mine is violet," I lastly said. "Mine is burgundy red and violet," Blaise mocked us with a girl's voice. "It's red and purple," he and Hayes started laughing.

"No, it's a different shade!!" I raised my voice a little but started laughing with them. "Favourite class?" Hayes asked looking at everybody.

"Charms," Lynnet said shortly. "Definitely defense against the dark arts," was Blaise's answer.

"I like potions," I said. "You're not gonna like it soon," Lynnet looked at me with a convincing look.

"Why not?" I was confused. "Because of Snape," Blaise agreed with Lynnet. "He can't be that bad," I chuckled and we continued talking about completely random things again.

An hour later

"Oh shit," I said as I quickly got up from the sofa. "What's wrong, did something bite you in the ass?" Blaise laughed at me and looked at the place where I was sitting.

"No," I laughed. "I had to write to Rickon, but I completely forgot," I said as I was grabbing a quill and a piece of paper from the table.

"Who's Rickon?" Lynnet asked and looked at me excitedly. "My boyfriend," I said as I started writing the letter while standing up.

"Uuuuh what's he like?" Was Lynnet excited. "Well he's really cute and sweet, but since I got expelled we're kind of doing the long-distance thing," I explained. No one said anything after that.

"So what should I write about?" I asked for advice and looked at them helplessly. "Write about what you did today and the sorting. And also that you miss him," Lynnet said and I kept writing it down.

When I was writing I heard the common room door open. About time that everyone comes in. I kept writing about missing Rickon when I was all of a sudden bumped into.

"Watch where you're going," said someone bumping into my shoulder and I lost my balance. "Watch where you're going," I said quietly through my teeth as I got back my balance and looked at him.

He right away stopped walking and slowly turned around. It was a blond tall guy. He looked pretty mad. "What did you say?" He asked with a louder voice as he rushed and pushed me against the wall, towering over me.

"I said watch where you're going, I was standing," I said clearly looking straight into his grey eyes.
I looked at others. Blaise and Lynnet looked like it was the most normal thing. Hayes looked confused and seemed like he wanted to stand up.

"How dare you talk back to me you filthy little mudblood?" He spat as he pulled his wand out of his pocket and placed it on my throat. What the hell?!
