Linda's POV

"Am not hungry" I stated more blankly but it came out more shaky than I had expected.

Just then I heard the screeching of a chair, meaning that someone had stood up and I was silently playing that it wasn't Aiden. I didn't want him to see like this.

In this vulnerable state of mine.

As if luck wasn't on my side, Eliana or whatever her name was decided to walk in. She stopped Midway as she noticed me.
I could feel the daggers she was sending towards .e with her eyes as she glared at me.

"Is our Luna about to cry" she stated in a mocking tone and I decided it was my turn to glare at her now.

How could she say such thing at this particular moment.
Now Aiden would be more convinced that I was vulnerable.

Ugggghhhh this girl keep getting on my nerves.

"I kept on telling Aiden that the girl he brought was so so weak to be a werewolf queen" she said as she rolled her eyes and threw her hands I the air.

She appeared as if she was just stating facts and then her gaze was directed to me once again.

"Don't you realize that yourself? Do you think something as filthy as you could...."

By then the tears were already at the brink of falling as I heard all she said about me.

Was I really weak?

Right from time, everyone seemed to bully me. Maybe she was right.

It started from Maddox and now it's even my own mate.

So ridiculous..

"Enough!!!!" Before she could continue I heard Aiden's voice telling her to stop.
And that's when I realized that he was by my side and he was holding my hand.

"Why do you keep defending this thing!!" Now She was getting angry.

The tears had already started to fall.

"If I hear any other insultive words from you that's directed to her again...." This time Aiden was the one angry as his hands tightened around mine and then his eyes bored a deep hole in Eliana's.

"I will make sure you lick her feet" I froze as I heard that and through the look on Eliana's face she seemed to be shocked at what he said.

I actually expected something different, either being locked up or something.

"Or probably her personal maid, am sure that you wouldn't want that, would you?" He growled again as he said those words through gritted teeth.

Eliana just stood there heart broken as she kept staring at Aiden.
It was then that Aiden released his grip on mine but his hands were on mine.

Eliana finally turned to me and then her usual glare appeared and then as if she was communicating through a mind link, her words started ringing in my head.

Who would accept such a filthy thing...

Another tear dropped as Aiden held my chin and made me to look at him.
