Linda's POV

"All done!!" Ivy exclaimed as she clapped her hands and turned me to face the mirror

"Don't you think this is so.... You know for just a council meeting?" I asked her as I admired myself on the mirror

I was looking too beautiful, too fancy and too everything. It was like I was staring at a doll version of me. I nearly couldn't recognize myself.

"What are you saying Linda, you look perfect!" She scolded and I sighed

"I didn't say you did a bad job in dolling me up but isn't this too much. I am just meeting a couple of old wise men" I stated and she laughed

"Ha ha, that's the most funniest term I have ever heard about the council members"

"I am serious" I scowled and she tried to calm herself down.

"Linda, you have to show off" she stated and I sighed

"Show off? Those goes won't even know what fashion is"

"You said you didn't want to look weak didnt you?" She asked and I nodded

"Yeah I did"

"Then you have to dress like a ¶ueen, you don't go to the council without dressing like you are a ¶ueen. A ¶ueen wears the too listed accessories Linda"

"I just don't know" I said as I turned back to the mirror

I was wearing a black glittering V neck body hug dress, which had a slit that stopped at my middle thigh.

I wore black heels and she manicured my nails, I had makeup on and not to forget, my earrings and necklace were diamond. Pure diamond I might add.

"Linda, to assure you, they won't talk about your dress, they are very picky and so I want you to look beautiful not because of them but because of Aiden."

"Aiden?"

"Yeah, he would be so shocked by the way you look" she said and chuckled and I sighed.

"You have to have a great self esteem and be confident" Stacy said and I smiled at her.

Speaking of Stacy, she and Olivia started living here with us since the day she arrived. I was actually glad that Ivy forgave her but I feel like their friendship wasn't like how it was before.

I could remember how Ivy was whining that Stacy didn't talk to her the day I found out that Aiden was my mate but now....

She doesn't ask about her anymore.

"I will try" I replied

"Not try, you have to if you don't want to loose Aiden" she said and Ivy glared at her.

"She won't loose my brother, he would surely stand up for her" Ivy snapped and Stacy sighed

"Of course I know, but whose mate won't be proud when his Luna stands up as a confident woman against those picky men?" She asked and Ivy sighed and nodded

"She is right" I said as I turned back to the mirror

"Aiden is very supportive but I want him to see me as someone who could stand by his side" I said to myself and Stacy gave me a thumbs up and I smiled.

"Thank you so much" I said to both of them and and they smiled

"What are friends for?" Stacy said

Just then, the door opened and Aiden stepped inside

"We are almost....." He froze as he turned to me

"I told ya" Ivy said to Stacy and they both chuckled

"Hi" was all I could say but he kept looking at me from head to toe

"You.... You look beautiful" He said as he walked slowly over to me and I smiled. Ivy was right.
Aiden's reaction was what she was aiming at.

"Thank you, you look handsome as well" I said but he didn't reply as he kept looking at me.

"Snap out of it Aiden" Ivy snapped as she stepped in front of him and he frowned as he looked at her.

"Can't I look at my mate anymore?" He asked and she laughed

"You just wanted to say that you guys are late for the meeting isn't it? And now your eyes are about to bulge out of it's socket" she said as she tried to calm down.

"Linda let's go" he said as he walked around his sister and came to me as he held out his hands which I gladly took.

"Can we?" He asked and I nodded

"Of course" I replied and he rolled his eyes Ivy as we walked out.

"I will be there is some minutes time" Ivy yelled as we closed the door

One of the guards opened the door as he helped me to step out of the car and bowed down in respect.
I realized that I would have to get used to these kinds of gestures towards me.

I went over to Aiden and hooked my hand around his arm and we headed towards the entrance of a huge building which I guess that was the meeting's venue.

I couldn't stop myself from thinking about what was about to happen

What kind of ¶uestions would they ask me....

What if they didn't see me as a good Luna?

What if....

"Linda, I am here okay?" Aiden said as he patted my hand and I smiled at him.

"You would have to have a good self esteem if you don't want to loose Aiden"

Stacy's words rang in my head and the thought of Eliana came back to my head.

She also wanted Aiden as well...

Was that what Stacy meant by saying I should not loose Aiden?

Was this some sort of competition?

"Linda?"

I snapped out of my thoughts as Aiden called my name.

"Huh?"

"You are zoning out babe" he said and I smiled

"I am sorry, I am just nervous" I replied and he nodded.

"We are about to step in" he said and I turned to look forward and I realized that we had already reached a couple of huge double doors.

Have I been thinking for a long time?

"Okay" I replied and the door opened as the guards bowed down and we walked in.

Stepping into the room, I was amazed

The wide room had a very nice decor. It also had a dome like ceiling which held a very nice and huge chandelier.

This place was magnificent and beautiful in all.

Bringing my gaze downwards, the room had bright lamps which made the whole place look golden.

A long table was placed in the middle of the room with chairs round it.

I froze as I caught the eye of someone i had been praying not to see.
