Aiden's POV:

I walked into my study as Dave and Felix followed behind me. I walked over to me seat behind the desk and flopped down on it.

"C'mon Felix I am tired of waiting" I snarled as I glared at Felix and he sighed and ran his hand through his hair.

It has been three weeks, three fucking weeks since I had the meeting with the council about my proposed war with Maddox's pack and yet Felix kept saying stuffs about striking at the right time.

I knew that it was going to be an advantage for us but for Pete's sake, Linda has been in their custody. In his custody.

I gritted my teeth as I realized that she was still there with that bastard called Maddox.

"Aiden you have to calm down" Dave said and I shot him a glare.

"I could kill him and his father within minutes Felix" I said and I knew I was right.

I was an Alpha King, I was stronger than the strongest and they were no match for me.

"I know that clearly Maddox, but you can't just appear and Maddox will come to fight you directly. You have to go when they let their guards down" he stated.

"We have been waiting for three weeks and their guards are not down, what makes you think that they will drop it any time soon?" I asked as my jaw ticked.

"Good, by the end of this week Maddox is celebrating his father's birthday and his two year Alpha tenor" Felix said and I sat up.

That guy was still a kid and he had.... I laughed in mockery.

"Maddox is just marking two years in his rule and he had the guts to kidnap my mate!!!" I growled and Dave flinched.

"Haa, he was really too foolish for his own good" I snarled.

"I want to make sure I kill him and his father specially with my own hands" I smirked.

"I hate that smirk" Dave murmured but I heard it anyways but my smirk disappeared when I realized that it was till the end of this week

"Why is it the end of this week? Can't it be moved forward?" I asked as I grew impatient.

"A patient dog it's the biggest bone" Felix said.

"Now you are comparing our plan to that of dogs" I said as I raised my eyebrows.

"It's just a saying Aiden, besides what are your plans towards Maddox and his father?" Dave asked and I smiled.

"Watch and see" I said as my smirk appeared again.

I walked towards my study as I had just escorted Felix towards the car that was taking him home. I yawned and walked faster as I planned to mark the places I wanted to place most of my men.
