Linda's POV

It has been a month since after Maddox's pack was deprived of their former Alpha, Alpha and beta.

These weeks has been really the best weeks of my life because, Aiden learnt not to boss me around like before but to try to push things a bit more slowly although that character is still within him.

He recently got discharged from the hospital about two weeks ago and at that time, I felt great pity for him.

I found out that he had been suffering from some sort of psychological trauma when his mother died. Dave also me told me that his mother died in his arms so when I fell limp in his arms again, he almost went crazy.

When he was in the hospital, he never wanted to let me out of his side. Dave would have to talk to him before he would reluctantly let me off. Sometimes I would only leave when he was asleep.

Sometimes I couldn't imagine what it was like when he was a kid. Such kind of traumatic experience would have a great effect on a child.

I brought my fingers to  trace his jaw line. I must have not really noticed but I realized he was one handsome creature. It made me want to really see how his mother and father looked like.

I didn't want to ask he during these weeks of recuperation Because I was afraid it might trigger his I'll ess again. So I kept it myself.

"Ready to come back to Earth?"
I was snapped back to reality when I heard his voice as I looked at him to notice that he was smirking.

"Good morning" I said as I tried to turn away but he held me put.

"Good morning, hope you slept well?" He said as he closed his eyes and I hummed

"Yeah, are you still sleepy?" I asked and he nodded his head and then shook his head and I sighed.

This guy....

"Aiden can you be serious?" I asked and he chuckled

"I am not sleepy okay? It's just that, I am nit ready to face Ivy" he grumbled and I laughed.

I my had been a bossy sister since he got discharged. Always forcing him to take his meds, to avoid stress and she even stopped Aiden's favourite shooting lessons.

"Why? Just as long as you take your drugs" I stated and he snorted

"It's not even about that" he said as he sat upwards as he ran his hands through his hair and bet me I had to look everywhere apart from his bare back.

"Then it's about what?" I said as I sat upwards too.

"The hand over ceremony"

"What hand over ceremony?" I asked as I haven't heard about it.

"I am so sorry babe, I couldn't tell you earlier. It slipped my memory" he said as he turned to face me and I nodded

"Don't worry, just tell me about it now" I replied as I smiled at him.
