Linda's POV

I woke up this morning to feel someone tightly holding my hands like I was going to die the next minute.
I turned my gaze from the ceiling to my hands which I saw was being held by Aiden.
As we talked last night, I had learnt a few things about him. So far I knew his best colour was Red, he was afraid of insects, bugs in particular.
He loved the woods just like me.
I was starting at him that I didn't know he had woken up.

"Morning Princess" he said and snapped me back to reality.
"Morning Alpha" I replied and he frowned.
I was scared, a bit actually. Maybe I have wronged him by staring or something.
"Did I do something wrong??" I asked with a broken voice. He sighed and shove off the frown.
"I told you not to call me Alpha again. We are mates and are equal" he said and I nodded.

I would really have to adapt to that

I tried sitting up but he pushed me down making me to groan.
"You need to rest" he whispered.
"Rest?? I have been sleeping and eating for the past one week Al-- Aiden" I hissed.
"But you need to heal"
"I have healed pretty well, besides my body is becoming stiff due to this staying one place issue" I huffed
"But..." Before he could say a word I beat him to it.
"Please" I whispered.
"Ugh, fine!!" He said falling back to his seat

Just then the doctor came in.
"Good day Alpha, Luna good day" he greeted and I nodded
"Good day doc" Aiden replied and went back to his phone as it beeped.
"How are you feeling??" The doctor asked and I smiled in return.
"Much better" I replied.
"Okay, you even looked like you are more stronger" he said as he opened a file on his hand.
"You see??" I said as I turned to Aiden who just chuckled in return.
"Luna.... Seems like you can be able to leave this hospital. Meaning you are discharged" he said smiling and i felt myself jump up and down in my head.
"That would be awesome" I gushed out and sat up and then Aiden snapped his gaze to me.
"Am fine" I said and tried putting my feet on the floor.

The marbled floor was damn cold compared to the warm but not so cozy blanket that my feet had been under far a week.
My two feet were now on the floor and then I stood upwards still holding the bed, but when I left it I lost balance I saw myself coming in contact with the ground.
I closed my eyes waiting for the hit and then a doctor telling me that I won't be discharged but it never came.
Instead when I opened my eyes I saw Aiden staring at me.

Then it hit me....
I was in Aiden's arms.

Did he just catch me???

The moment was interrupted when Olivia came rushing in.
"Good day Lin- ohh did I interrupt??" She asked smiling and I blushed as I stood uprightly and got out of Aiden's hold.
"So I would leave then" the doctor said and I nodded and he left.
"How are you Linda??" Olivia asked and I just hugged her.
"Much better, how is everyone??" I asked in return
"Okay anyway, apart from Stacy" she said and I could feel her vibes go down the drain but she still kept her smile.

"Oooh.." I replied not knowing what to say actually.
"I would go get your things ready to leave" Aiden said and I froze.
"I thought you said I could stay" I asked.
"Maybe I changed my mind" he huffed.
"What!!! I can't just go with you"
"You use no choice, you are my mate. You are Mine" he said and was about going out.

Who does he think he is???

"I am not an object to be owned!!!" I growled.
This guy was getting on my nerves already. I thought we discussed about this and now he just decided to show how cocky he is.
"Linda calm down" Olivia said patting my shoulders
"It's for your own good" he replied
"No thanks, I can take care of myself" I hissed.
