Confessions (Part One)

Third Person

"Phony wand? In my sleep!"

Carlos excitedly agreed as the VKs made a plan to rescue their friends. They'd been at it for a while, the plan for Ben has been the easy one since he has a trade available for him, but Elena's case was proving to be more difficult. They've jumped from Ben to Elena back and forth, but they can barely get an idea straight about how to rescue Elena,

"Awesome, okay... back to Elena, how about we... shit! How about... how about we get a diversion set up? Something to distract the pirates while someone sneaks onto the ship?"

Evie snapped her fingers a few times and looked over to Mal with a bit of a smirk,

"Colored smoke bombs? You know the ones we can make at Lady Tremaine's? If that's not a distraction then I don't know what is"

Mal finally felt a bit of weight fly off her shoulders, the first idea about how to rescue Elena that actually seems to make sense. She nodded with a smirk and hummed,

"Perfect, now who wants to sneak onto the ship? She may be in the cellar, or maybe with Ben? So that person will have to play it by ear to see where Shrimpy's gonna keep her"

Jay immediately stepped forward and raised his hand. Everyone looked over to him with a slight groan as they all knew he was going to throw himself into the "saving Elena" part of the mission while he's barely helped with anything else,

"Me, I'll do it. I'll standoff against Hook myself if I have to"

Mal chuckled and slowly shook her head with a long sigh,

"If you say so, pulling the heroic prince move to get her to actually like you now huh?"

Jay flushed red and scoffed as he looked around a little, of course that was the reason,

"What? Me? Never, besides, I think she already likes me"

Jay said in a suave tone. Bruni who had decided to stick with Mal seemed to slowly shake his head at the boy which sent the girls into near hysterics. Jay on the other hand was beyond embarrassed for a moment,

"Fine Bruni, then this will be the thing to do it"

Jay said to get Bruni off his case. Bruni only rolled his big blue eyes, of course Elena told Bruni everything, so he knew Elena didn't like Jay romantically. The stubborn boy didn't listen to the small salamander regardless,

"Alright there's no time to waste, boys go to Auradon and make the phony wand and grab some swords from the fencing room just in case. Evie, you and I have to go give Dizzy a little visit. And guys, losing? Not an option"

Evie squealed a little at the mention of Dizzy and nodded. The boys nodded to as Mal put her hand out,

"Cause we're rotten..."

All the other VKs put their hands out and bumped Mal's hand and finished the sentence before promptly splitting up to do their respective duties. They all were beyond ready for their missions so they could come together and save their beloved friends,

"... to the core"

Elena POV

I longingly sighed as I sniffled and got my emotions together a little bit, I need to get my emotions out but crying won't do much to help me right now. I slowly sat up and wiped my tear-stained cheeks, now that I wasn't actively sobbing this place has gotten quiet again. Well... now that I'm actively listening... is that... crying? I hear more crying, and that just worries me.
