The Night Falls

We all made our way out of Audrey's room a while ago and even found two more friends along the way! We were walking down the last corridor of dorm rooms when we heard some ruckus inside, so Harry went ahead and knocked on the door to see who was in there, and sure enough... Gil hadn't been put to sleep! So he's with us now, and may I say, the reunion between Harry and Gil when Harry saw that he was alright was so cute! I kinda wish I got it on video cause Harry even surprised him with a hug and everything! Not just that, but when we were heading over to Ben's castle we stumbled into Dude who Carlos was super excited to see! Goodness, it was such a wonderful reunion as well, the fact that not everyone or everything is truly asleep is so comforting!

Now that we have Gil and Dude, some super awesome additions to our already amazing group... maybe besides Uma, we made the little walk to Ben's castle which didn't take too long whatsoever, and of course Mal knew the way in, but it was pretty cool for sure! Not my home, a little brighter than I'd like, and even a bit smaller I reckon, but it's cool still! We made our way up a few sets of stairs now, Harry and I walked hand in hand as always as we walked into a more cozy, even slightly ornate set of halls which I favored much more than the rest of the blue and yellow castle. I looked around the hall as Uma slowed down a bit as she had been walking beside Mal just so she could walk beside us instead for some reason.

Gil was all smiles though, even with Uma being here. I think he's just happy to be included, but I understand that a hundred percent! I simply took awkward glances at Uma as she seemed to be doing the same to me and Harry. I just wish we could move that along a bit, I know there's tons of tension here and I of course know why... I just wish we could talk it out for Harry's sake more than anything, I know he still has some... trauma to face, and some of it is due to how Uma treated him, and I know he hasn't told me all of it so of course I want to help him through it some more! I think facing Uma would be a great thing for him, just telling her all she did and how she impacted his life in a negative way, just so he knows that she knows. And I have yet to fully understand what happened to him with his dad even, so eventually, someday... I'll know he would've faced it all, but I just want to keep making forward progress with that.

I felt Harry's thumb gently drawing little shapes on my hand as we walked, giving me a more than comforting feeling to hold onto. Even as Uma glanced down at our hands and kept giving me puzzled looks, it didn't seem to faze either of us as we leaned a bit on each other just to feel the constant connection,

"So... I'm sorry I can't hold it back anymore, how the fuck did you two end up together? I mean, Harry kidnapped you one, and two... the fact that both of you are polar opposites is easy to see"

Uma quickly blurted out of nowhere, Harry and I looked over at her in unison before looking up and down at each other, for that question sure was bold, wasn't it? Harry sighed and gave me a quick wink, telling me that he essentially has this under control which simply made me proud as he's so willing to confront Uma now that he's healed and stronger than ever before!

"One, I wanted ta kidnap her if she didn't want ya stay on the Isle because she was the only person, the only thing at that, that made me happy. Who's fault really is that? Oh, isn't that yers since ya deprived me of every other source of happiness? We talked about that the night after I kidnapped her in the first place, she understood my situation right away and still does. Two, ever heard the phrase "opposites attract"? Not ta mention, we're not as different as we look, we're different for sure but not by that much"

Harry quickly responded, Uma furrowed her brow a bit and looked at me next,

"You seriously forgive him for kidnapping you? I mean-"
