Elena POV

Today is a pretty chill day at home, we've decided to take the day and relax, especially because thanks to last night's adventure... Harry's ankle is horribly swollen. I felt a little bad about it, but Harry assured me having a swollen ankle wasn't the worst he'd dealt with.

I have him nice and tucked into his own bed with an ice pack, made by yours truly, on his ankle. I've been getting him things all day just so he doesn't have to get up and make his ankle any angrier which was hard to get him to agree to, but I told him if he takes the whole day off then tomorrow he'll be good as new!

I had just went back down to the kitchen to put all the dishes from Harry's morning coffee and his breakfast and lunch into the sink, now I was simply working my way back up to his room where hopefully, he should be napping. I took the long way mainly to sightsee my home a little bit, I haven't really taken a good moment to really look at this place yet so I was really looking forward to simply looking around!

I walked past one grand door, one with blue detailing on it with a few emerald green ones littered throughout the blue design. I paused and backed up a little bit to stop by the door... this was my dad's old office, where almost all of his stuff went after he passed. It's always made me... so sad when walking by here, I barely remember what it looks like in there.

I looked up at the grand door and took a long sigh at the sight of it... you're wondering why I just can't go in, aren't you? Well... it's been locked since all his stuff was put into it and I have never been able to get it open... oh! But maybe someone has gone into there while I've been gone and forgot to lock it after them! Driven by hope, I smiled a little bit and tried the knob...

Nope.... I'm not that lucky it seems.

My smile melted into nothing as I began sadly jiggling the knob around with no result. I felt my sensitive soul sadly sink and my eyes were stung with tears. I couldn't help it, I leaned my forehead on the door and let out a long sigh. I really long, disappointed sigh. If only I knew how to open a locked door... even if I did what on earth would I use?

Wait.... but I do have something that could pick a lock! Well not yet, but I'm sure Harry wouldn't mind if... well I took his hook just to pick the lock while he's asleep! I'll put it right back afterward I promise! I got a bit more hope to me and quickly turned away from the door and quietly jogged down the hall to Harry's room, I am on a mission. I remember he used to tell me tons about how he used to pick locks with the hook to get into places or vaults, so this will be perfect!

I slowed my pace down as I approached Harry's room so I could be extra quiet, I began tip-toeing and everything. I slowly opened his door only as much as I had to and crept on in, sure enough, he was sound asleep... aww and he sure did look cute! He had fallen asleep face-up and had a little smile on his face as he was holding a pillow with one arm, the ice pack I made him was still nicely balanced on his ankle. His hook was on his bedside table as always, and he was sleeping like a baby.

I smiled at his absolute cuteness and began creeping over to his bedside. The floors creaked a little bit as I tip-toed over, but surely he's not that light of a sleeper so I'm sure that was alright. I made my way over to his bedside and had to take a moment to coo at his cute lil face... and I stared a little bit no matter how creepy that might sound but he's just the cutest lil thing when he looks this peaceful!

I snapped out of my daydreaming at his cuteness and reminded myself what I had to do before he wakes up. I am here to take care of him, but right now, I just have to get that door open! This may be one of my only opportunities to do so! I looked over to his hook and slowly moved to take the hook gently into my hand. I took the handle of the hook and the hook made the smallest clink noise on the table and suddenly my wrist was grabbed by a rather strong hand, and I just couldn't help but squeak quite loudly in surprise as Harry had practically sprung to life at the sound!
