Harry POV"Harry? You... never told me you knew how to play"
Sure enough, I thought Elsa was joking when she said Elena would wake up and come investigate at the sound of one key. But here she is, looking half asleep and all, wondering what I was doing sitting at the piano I can safely assume. I gave her a warm smile and watched her slowly come down the stairs, a confused smile on her face as she looked genuinely interested in what I was doing. Her hair was a little messy from her already being asleep once, but it was adorable in my opinion,
"I... I used ta play a little bit back home, it was my only escape from ye know what. I spotted this earlier and couldn't sleep so I came down 'ere ta see if I could remember what I knew... ye don't mind do ya?"
To my ultimate surprise, she immediately shook her head with a bright smile and came trotting over to me, picking up the skirt to her nightgown to do so and everything. She actually looked excited to have caught me here or something,
"Oh no not at all... uhm, may I?"
She asked as she looked down at the piano itself. Without question, I moved over on the bench where she happily sat down beside me. She smiled at the piano and simply brushed her hand over some of the keys, relaxing at the mere sight of it it seemed. She seemed to become so much more content just sitting here, being in this seat and all.
I smiled at her happiness alone and casually peered over to my side where a basket of sheet music laid in books and organized with care. It looked like it had been taken care of, but had not been touched in a while. I slowly picked it up and with new confidence in rekindling my old abilities, I gave Elena the basket which she looked at with great curiosity. Her eyes already began darting about the papers she could see,
"Pick one, I wanna test my skill"
Third Person
Harry didn't want to test his skill, he wanted to impress her. He wanted to make her smile with a song, and if she sang along then he thought his heart would melt, but that's what he wished for. Elena took the basket of sheet music with care and looked over some, her fingers delicately moved page after page back as she read titles and such, she suddenly seemed to light up and paused. She pulled out an older looking stack of sheets, not too many pages which relieved Harry a little bit, and set the basket down beside her on the floor before handing the sheets over to Harry,
"This one is a classic! My dad loved this one, and it's not too complicated! Not that I don't think you can't play something complicated, you know what I mean"
Harry secretly appreciated that she chose one that wasn't terribly complicated and took the sheets of music from her. Elena took a little sigh as she had gotten a little nervous with her words, tripping over a few and such. He looked through it and hummed ever so lightly as he realized, it was a love song, and it had a singing part in it. His heart warmed at the mere idea of having him play a love song as she sang along,
"I think I can do this, but there's singing in it"
Harry acted as casual as he could, but even acting casual as he could, allowed a smile of adoring escape onto his lips. Elena grinned and nodded a little bit as he put the sheets of music up to read,
"Don't worry about the singing part"
Was all she said, Harry did wish she would sing with him, but if she didn't at least being able to show her this talent of his was making him as happy as he could be. Elena wasn't sure if she could even sing in this setting, it was strange enough being back on this bench, let alone being asked to sing like she used to. He nodded once to her with a loving smile and whispered,
