Making An Alliance (Part Two)

Elena POV

Well, I won't lie, it's never my favorite thing when I wake up to my phone ringing rather than anything else... really, it's not a nice way to wake up.

But hey, at least I slept well, I think we both did at that! I mean... we fell asleep on the couch last night while we were watching a movie, and now that I'm actually gaining consciousness, we both must've slept well! I mean, I sure did since I fell asleep completely on his chest as while we were watching the movie, Harry let me sit between his legs so I could actually lay on him which was lovely! I must've fallen asleep shortly after then because I don't remember much after that! But now that we're both very much awake since of course Harry woke up at the phone ringing, we both took a moment and woke up before looking for the phone to make it stop ringing. I reached over the couch to fish for it in the pile of blankets that was there and eventually found it, pulling it out I quickly answered it just to get it to stop ringing,

"Hello?"

I asked, hoping my voice didn't sound as tired as I felt that it was. Harry relaxed once I got the ringing to stop, I wouldn't be surprised if it spooked him a bit! So I held the phone up to my ear as Harry laid his head back onto the couch and took a deep breath, stretching a bit as I just laid back down on his chest,

"Hey Elena, sorry for the call out of nowhere, but are you and Harry available at the moment? I think we have some official royal business to discuss and I'd love to talk to you both as soon as possible"

I'm pretty sure that's Mal, but she was talking really fast as if she was super excited for some reason! I mean it made me a little bit excited too I won't lie! But what could this be about? What sort of royal business do we have to discuss? I've never even had to discuss royal business before! Normally I just stand by while my mom or my aunt talks, and she must want Harry around too since he's going to be the future King and all, so this may be a little bit exciting indeed! I looked over to Harry as he had closed his eyes for a moment and hummed a bit,

"I think we can both be available in thirty minutes or so if that works? And may I ask what this is about?"

I slowly spoke as I worked it all out in my head, making sure Harry heard me so he knew what was going on to a point. He did perk up a bit, opening his eyes and bringing his head back up he looked down at me with a slightly furrowed brow and a tilted head,

"Oh it's just Isle stuff, I can explain more when we're in person. So me and Ben can expect you both in thirty minutes?"

Ben's involved too? How interesting! This really must be official royal stuff then! I looked up at the clock and nodded a bit,

"Yeah I think so, where are we meeting you guys?"

"Ben's office, I'll see you then!"

Gosh, she's so excited she answered with so much haste she nearly cut me off! I giggled a bit and nodded again even though she can't see me nod,

"See you then Mal!"

With that I pulled the phone away from my ear and hung up, throwing it across the couch I let out a little groan and simply let all my weight fall back onto Harry's chest so I could actually take the time to wake up. Harry chuckled a bit and brought one of his hands up and around me so he could lightly dance his fingertips around my back which I've just remembered is bare... how on earth did I forget that we're both shirtless? Gosh, I really don't even remember falling asleep huh? But the feeling was so comforting regardless, and yeah it did feel a little strange to feel my chest directly pressing up against his, but I think I'm getting used to it nicely!
