Third Person

The battle had raged on with intense ferocity as Elena had to say goodbye to her dearest, Harry. And even though Elena couldn't hear them, Uma and Mal were calling for her the whole time as they needed help, desperately. It was a useless fight as long as the ember wasn't lit, but they just had to hold Audrey's flaming wrath back until they could get Elena's help. Mal was flying around the tower trying to get an angle on Audrey as she was under fire as Uma finally got back to her feet after being blasted the first time. She seethed a bit and held her arm as she looked over to Elena and Harry, watching as Harry slipped what looked like to be a ring onto her finger before a moment of sadness, so Uma paused her walk towards the two to get Elena to watch her gently hold his cheek for a moment before leaning down for a kiss.

Uma watched in shock as she was practically knocked off her feet as she saw both Elena kiss Harry and Harry turn to blue-tinted ice at seemingly the exact same. She was shocked... her old first mate... was dead? She froze in shock, staring at him for a moment before being violently startled by that echoing scream... it even shook Uma up hearing that scream of agony and despair. The entire battle seemed to pause, Mal and Audrey paused too as they heard another scream of heartbreak... they all knew at that very moment, Harry was gone... and there was no way Elena was leaving him now.

So Uma slowly backed away before turning on her heels and running back towards Mal, tears stinging her eyes as she thought about that spine-chilling image of Harry being frozen to death. But at least he was happy, that's the one thing she could think to make herself feel just a bit better. Mal was in shock too, but couldn't even think of sympathizing for Elena as she was bombarded by more attacks from Audrey as she still grew stronger. Without Elena... it looked as if the fight was a lost cause.

Elena cried her little heart out... in shambles, she laid on his frozen body and just melted into cries of heartbreak. To everyone's surprise, after the last scream she let out, the raging storm above froze in place perfectly. The wind halted, the thunder and lightning stopped right where it had last struck, and the storm brewing above froze too. It was one of a few things that happened simply because of Elena's breakdown, for she was so in tune with the earth, that it stopped everything in the area at her intense feeling of sadness. She kept her arms wound around him and leaned her head on his chest as she whispered to him despite knowing he couldn't hear her, nor could he answer her desperate plea,

"P-Please..... c-come b-back..... I-I c-can't.... c-can't do t-this w-without y-you..... H-Harry...... c-come b-back..."

She sobbed out with a whimper. Keeping her eyes tightly shut she pressed her forehead right against where his heart lay underneath. She wished she could hear it beat just one more time... but there was nothing. She felt so alone, the one person that seemed to get her and understand her to a T, the one person who held her in some of her darkest moments, the one person who stayed by her side through thick and thin, the one person who put his own needs aside to accommodate for anything and everything she needed, the one person who absolutely loved her to bits... the man who just slipped a ring that was once a simple promise ring onto her finger that they had both decided meant something more... was gone. So naturally, she felt like she was completely alone in this cruel world that he had so kindly always explained to her, no hand to hold... no shoulder to cry on...

Elena kept her eyes tightly shut as the battle raged on worse than ever, her ears ringing as her senses shut down a bit from the overwhelming emotion that was sending her so far down a dangerous spiral. She just held on... wishing to hear that steady beat of his heart despite moments going by... nothing.... nothing... she begged the universe to give him back, internally she screamed out pleas to just bring him back somehow... but she kept her eyes closed... so she didn't begin to notice the odd spot right above his heart begin to sparkle.... the ice was seemingly... thawing out right above where his heart lay. She was in such disarray she didn't notice... but the spot slowly seemed to spread.
