Elena POV

The talk with my mom made me feel even better, instead of just talking about my father's death, we just talked about him in general. She told me funny stories about him, her first few dates with him, the day I was even born, and I even told her that I found out by going to Ahtohallan.

That scared her quite a lot, hearing that I nearly froze sent her into a slight frenzy of mom overprotectiveness, but I told her I was alright because Harry came in after me and made sure to take care of me even after the fact. I told her about how Harry comforted me through the whole experience too, just so I could give her a basic recap of what had happened. She gave me the longest hug after that, and that was simply very comforting!

So overall it went really well and I feel a lot better afterward, now the next thing is to somehow find Harry in this huge castle since I told him he could wander about for a while... this could take some time. I turned down one of the hallways and saw my aunt walking towards me, she lit up a little bit at the sight of me and speed-walked towards me,

"Oh hey auntie, have you seen Harry anywhere?"

I casually asked. She lit up a little bit and trotted on over to me,

"Oh yes, he's in the portrait room. By the way, he mentioned that you've been a little shy around him recently, what's going on Elle?"

She asked curiously, I was rather surprised, to be honest. Harry's noticed that I'm having more shy spells? Oh great, I can't even cover that up huh? I was rather taken aback at first, but eventually sighed and subconsciously hugged myself a little bit,

"Well... auntie, to be honest..."

I shuffled a little closer to my aunt so I could make sure no one else, specifically Harry, would hear. Just in case he's out and about or near us you know? If I were to ever tell him my true feelings about him I most certainly don't want him finding out by simply overhearing me,

"... I'm just... I can't help it sometimes, I get all bashful and stuff, I can't help it!"

I whisper yelled, but my aunt only smiled wider at me,

"Oh yeah? Well from the looks of that blush you have here, I would say it's not just bashfulness~"

My aunt sang, I simply playfully rolled my eyes and continued walking to the portrait room,

"Auntie! That's not funny"

I said with a playful smile as I continued walking. I kept walking until I heard her shout down the hall,

"Denying it is useless Elle!"

I simply looked back at her and playfully rolled my eyes again and headed to the portrait room for Harry. I heard a gentle patter of what seems like rain on the roof, so it looks like we won't be going on any outdoor adventures today. We could stay in today, maybe watch a movie... if we had a TV that is. I mean I could charge my phone up for the first time all week and watch a movie there if we had to, but I'm sure we could... whip out a board game or something.

I lightly hummed as I approached the entryway to the portrait room, I held my hands behind my back and peeked into the portrait rooms to just check if he was still in there. I saw Harry happily smiling up at a portrait of a couple on a picnic together, one of my favorites in here actually! The couple in the painting look so in awe of each other, it's hard not to like that one!

I quietly crept into the room and looked up at the painting all the way until I was standing next to Harry, and it almost felt like he hadn't even realized I was here. I leaned a little bit further into his view and looked into his eyes, he is totally daydreaming! Aww, how cute! I giggled a little bit at his look alone and the look was gone, replaced with a stunned one that snapped over to me at my sound. He seemed to jump a little bit before relaxing, probably realizing it was me,
