Elena POV
I stared out the window to my bedroom longly out to the sea, the port was fully functioning with ships coming from the yonder way. I simply felt so drawn that way... and I knew exactly why.
Besides my overwhelming feelings for Harry growing at a rate faster than ever, one other thing has been on my mind since I figured it out. The map to Ahtohallan, and I still haven't gone that way. I could feel it in my bones, I had to go there tonight. I just have to, I can't wait any longer knowing so much could be waiting for me over the horizon! So I had already set aside my basic winter outfit on my bed, ready to change when I came back from dinner and head out into the unknown.
I set out my outfit, making sure it was warm but functional for riding Nokk and any other adventures I may come to. I went with a very light color scheme but mainly focused on form-fitting for functionality. I set out a white sparkly jumpsuit that had light blue detailing on the shoulders and parts of the legs. It has a blue belt to it that sits perfectly around my waist with a snowflake design on the front. The top of the jumpsuit was sheer which I've always thought looked cool which also matched the light sheer skirt that went to my mid-calf and had a slit running up the side of it. It's really similar to an outfit my mom used to have, she told me about it when I first got this jumpsuit dress thingy. I like it for riding Nokk since it gives me mobility and it is super pretty! I then had pulled out a long, heavy white cloak or cape of sorts. It was lined with fur so I knew it would be warm and laid nicely over everything, and lastly, I had pulled out some white, tall, lace-up boots with block heels to them.
I smiled at my outfit as I finished putting it together as I heard a knock on my door. I looked at the door and back to my clothes, I should probably hide these in case that's my mom specifically. I am sneaking out later after all, so I quickly grabbed all my things and his them under my bedsheets and kicked my shoes under the bed as I put a blanket over the clothes. After that slight scramble, I simply called out,
"Come in!"
I looked over to the door as it opened, Harry peeked in a little bit before fully coming in. I smiled at his mere presence and held my hands in front of me as he quietly shut the door behind him,
"Hey Harry! What's up?"
He turned back from closing the door to look at me with a warm smile,
"Oh nothing, I just came ta check on ya. Ye've been a little more... reclusive today, I feel like I've barely seen ya"
I lightly sighed and looked back to my bed where my clothes were hidden for a moment and shrugged,
"Sometimes I can be that way, I've just been... thinking a lot today"
I turned away from Harry for a moment to look out the window, my thoughts about Ahtohallan quickly returned and caused me to zone out for a moment. I just must figure out what it has waiting for me... it's occupying my brain space almost just as much as my feelings for Harry and such... speaking of Harry,
"Ellie? What's this?"
I turned back towards Harry to see he had pulled the blankets back on my bed and was staring down at the clothes I had hidden. Well, I obviously didn't hide them too well since apparently, Harry sniffed them out like a bloodhound of sorts! I nervously laughed a little bit as he looked over to me with a slightly concerned look,
"U-Uhm... those are... clothes?"
I nervously said with a not terribly convincing smile. Harry chuckled a little bit and sighed, he looked back down at the clothes for a moment before looking back over to me,
