-Three Months Until Descendants 3-

Elena POV

I've... been staring at this flickering flame of this candle... for about thirty minutes, focusing on it as Bruni had advised, but alas... nothing.

Last month I worked on my skills with wind and may I say how good I think I've gotten at it? Because I've gotten pretty good with it! I even got to master the push technique of making a strong gust of wind to push things away from me! I can even levitate a bit on command on windier days, and boy was that one fun to learn about! Now fire... big oh boy how am I supposed to master fire?

Bruni simply lit this candle for me and told me to "experiment" which I have no clue about already? I'm just staring at the flame of a candle! I already focused on seeing elemental magic and saw the bright red fire magic dancing all around the flame, but now what? I casually and carefully twirled my finger around the flame, seeing it lean a bit towards my finger as I moved it around. Bruni crawled back up onto my desk and tilted his little head up at me as I danced my finger around it, he chirped a bit and hopped about some as I heard the door to the dorm open behind me, I peeked up a bit and turned around to see Harry casually waltzing on in, slinging his bag onto the ground as he seamlessly shut the door after him,

"Ello there love, made any progress?"

Harry casually asked as he put a few of his things away. I sighed and slowly shook my head before breaking my concentration and turned around to look at him,

"This one has my mind boggled for sure, I can get the flame to follow my finger but that's about it"

I tiredly spoke before turning back around and trying to focus on the flame again. Harry sighed a bit before walking on over to my desk and pulling up a chair beside me, swinging it around and placing it down with the back of the chair towards the desk before he casually sat down and propped his arms up on the back of the chair before placing his head on his arms. He simply watched me wave my finger around the flame a bit, same with Bruni who continued to watch for a moment before squeaking at me, making me pause,

"What? How am I doing anything wrong when I haven't even done anything?"

I asked as he chirped a bit more, he then hopped on over to me and whipped his tail around to flick a flame into existence on his tail before turning around and looking at his own tail before touching it with his little... hand? Is that what I should call it? Anyway, when he touched it his... hand lit ablaze. He then beckoned me to put him out which I did with a little flick of snow, after that he began squeaking and pointing at me with his tail, telling me to do the same thing to the flame which made absolutely no sense! I tilted my head a bit and furrowed my brow,

"You want me to what?"

I said in slight shock, Bruni slowly reiterated just what I thought, absolute absurdity! My eyes widened a bit as I paused and looked over to Harry in shock before looking back over to Bruni,

"You want me to touch it? Bruni, I'll burn myself!"

I exclaimed, Harry's eyes widened now as he realized why I was so taken aback. He sat up a bit straighter and even he chimed in,

"What exactly is the goal 'ere that ya need ya practically light yourself on fire for?"

Harry asked both me and Bruni, but Bruni simply squinted a bit before crawling over to me and hopping a bit as he wanted to crawl onto my hand. I put my chilly hand down and he crawled right on, sizzling a bit as he did. I slowly lifted my hand back up and watching him simply smile a bit before suddenly lighting his tail on fire and... tapped it on my palm?!
