"Techno, have you seen the new Nikes!?" Skeppy shouted over discord.

"Uh, no."

"Dude, I'm sending a picture, they look so good, I wish I could buy some."

"Don't you have like ten pairs of Nikes already?"

"Yeah, but the new ones, have you seen the picture yet?"

"I have. They look like shoes I guess."

"Don't you just want to blow money on cool stuff sometimes? What happened to all that Minecraft monday money anyways?"

"I help my parents with bills, but most goes into savings."

"You're so boring Technoblade." Not that he could see, but Techno rolled his eyes.

"Dream, help!" George whined as soon as he answered the call.

"What's up?"

"I can't decide what to pack."

"Well it's California, probably don't need a jacket." Dream had finished his own packing already.

"Not that, I don't know what shoes to take!"

"You mean your thirty pairs of Nikes?" Dream sighed.

"Yeah, I only have room for like three."

"I don't know, maybe don't take the most expensive ones in case you lose them?"

"But I want to show off." George's pout was audible.

"Then what do you want from me?" Dream had devolved into frustrated amusement, raising his voice to show a point. "I'm not a fashion authority, just take whatever."

"You're no help."

"Why did you think I would be?"

Dream's plane landed first, but since George was scheduled to arrive in an hour, he just waited. When they had met up and had gotten their bags, Skeppy came to pick them up. "Hope you two don't mind sitting in the back!" He said, stepping out to help with their bags.

Techno wasn't opposed to meet ups, but he didn't know Dream and George too well, so he didn't know why Skeppy wanted to bring him to the airport. As expected, it was kind of awkward, the conversation being pretty much all about YouTube and Minecraft. Skeppy took them to a restaurant, but the parking lot was crowded, so it was a bit of a walk.

"Wait, George, are those original Nikes?" Skeppy exclaimed upon having time to stare at his feet.

"Oh my gosh, they are! And yours, they're one of the new ones aren't they!" George replied.

The two instantly started a spirited discussion about shoes that left Dream and Techno feeling a bit left out. "I just got mine from Walmart." Techno said.

This made Dream laugh a bit, looking down to see that they were both wearing worn out, simple tennis shoes. "Look, it's like yin and yang or something." Referring to how Techno's were white with black logos and Dream's were black with white logos.

Techno chuckled. "The yin and yang of bad fashion sense I guess."

Dream laughed and lightly kicked their shoes together while their conversation drifted to other topics, both boys realizing the humanity behind the other's YouTube persona and becoming closer.
