Dream was always happy to make new friends, so when Bad started inviting Techno and Skeppy to their hang outs, he happily accepted them. However, he didn't expect Techno to be so cute, with flashy pink hair and strong jaw. He just couldn't help but dream a bit.

Sapnap, George, and Skeppy were playing smash in the apartment while Bad, Techno, and Dream were waiting for their turn with the controllers. After getting a glass of water, Techno decided to sit next to him on the stools.

"Hey Techno. How's it going?"

"I'm doing alright, it's a lot of fun here. What about you?" Dream couldn't help but notice the unnecessary inclusion.

"I'm having fun too." He glanced down at the pink shirt Techno was wearing, it had a print of a unicorn and a rainbow, something he didn't know anyone would sell in adult sizes. "I like your shirt by the way." Stated Dream, hoping Techno would understand what he was going for.

Glancing down before, he responded with a light chuckle. "Haha, I know right. I like yours two, it looks good on you."

Dream was glad he wore his button down today. "Thanks!"

For a bit they just sat there, laughing at the occasional funny moment from their friends. Then Techno looked at him, and Dream looked back. "Hold still, you have something on your face." Techno asked, leaning forwards.

The light brush of Techno's finger was between his cheek and lips, a feeling which made Dream slightly flustered and slightly hopeful. With a wide smile, he giggled. "My hero!"

Techno laughed back, gently elbowing him in the arm as he did. Dream elbowed back and they went into a miniature wrestling match, joyful as they did. It ended as a draw, then Techno started small talk. "You know, I've been thinking about how weird it is that the movie theater industry has been so short lived."

"Yeah, hasn't it only been a handful of decades since they became popular?"

"I think so. They still have their place in society, I don't think they'll just disappear."

"Totally, but they're just too expensive, people don't go to movie theaters enough."

"What about you? Have you gone recently?"

"It's been a while, one of the Disney movies for sure."

"Ah. For me I saw a mystery with my roommates a few months back."

"Oh cool! I love mysteries." Well it wasn't really a lie per say.

"Really, there's a new one I've wanted to see lately. Maybe we could all go?"

Dream wished Techno would be a bit bolder, but he didn't blame him. "Yeah, that sounds fun. Though I'm not sure other people's schedules, I know George and a Sapnap have a big project coming up."

"I don't mind if it ends up being just us." There was a faint smirk on Techno's face. "Though I don't think I have your number since I always tag along with Skeppy."

Dream could hardly stop the giddy smile peeking onto his face as he took Techno's extended phone to put in his digits. While he was entering it, George called back. "Alright, you guys can play now, we've had our fix."

Slipping out of his stool and handing Techno's phone back to him, Dream said, "Text me when you have a time and place." Before taking George's seat on the couch. He had a date with a cute guy. He couldn't be happier.
