[Vivian's POV]

A knock on the door makes me stood up-- immediately.
I hope its not Bettany - I hope its Elizh-

"The boss wants to see you-" Sabi ng isang tuxido man na nasa gitna ng bahagyang bukas na pinto. He touch the ear piece on his ear-- as if he was listening to someone. He murmured "Yes Temoan- copy." Sagot nito sa kabilang linya and looks back at me.

He looks so young to be in this place- to be working for bunch of  criminals. I thinks he's only 21 years old. Tall with white complexion. He seems more likely a mix of chinese and Filipino blood.

''You will have dinner with the boss." Sabi nito at napatingin ako sa digital clock na nakapatong sa lamesa katabi ng mga fragile figurines.

8:30 na pala ng gabi-

Hindi pa rin ako umaalis sa kintatayuan ko. 'Should I trust him?'

Nahalata niya ang pagiging mailap ko kaya nagpakilala siya to calm me down.

"I'm Justin- I'm just following instructions-" Sabi nito at binuksan ng malaki ang pinto gesturing na kailangan ko nang lumabas. I walk towards the door and he close it nang nasa labas na ulet ako. More than 7 hours na pala ako na nasa loob ng silid ko simula ng ihatid ako kanina ng isa sa mga tauhan ni Ranz. Times flies quickly. 

I walk after Justin at matapos ang ilang pagliko at pag-akyat ng hagdan ay narating namin ang isang malawak na terrace.Its like a ballroom stage  but in a terrace form.

Walang bubong kaya kitang-kita ang malawak na kalangitan. The stars greets me at once as it twinkles from millions of light years mula sa kinatatayuan ko. I love stars and I will always love those beautiful masterpiece that keeps giving me hope even in the most hopeless situation I am in.

Teka- dinner diba? Why was I brought up here? I thought it would be on the kitchen or at the dinning room. 

Napansin kong wala na akong kasama. Justin is not near my side anymore. Hindi ko na rin napansin kung nagsalita muna ito bago umalis. Nakatingala kasi ako upang tignan ang magagandang bituin. The cold air kisses my skin. I was wearing Brown wool -knitted clothes that I saw in my room's cabinet. I choose this wardrobe because its cold in this place. 

The aroma of roasted meat reach my alfactory nerves- The smell is mouth watering. (Meaning- Delicious)

"Aren't you planning to eat dinner?" A familiar voice interrupts my thoughts.  I look around and search the owner of this voice. 

My eyes stops on a table with candles on top. A coal heater -- few inches away from the table. I'm sure it gives warmth to persons who will sit among the opposite chairs. He's holding a stainless steel barbeque tong as he flip the meat from a grill where charcoals are burned up.
He's wearing coat to refrain him from freezing. 
 
I'm not dreaming - Am I?
My question was interupted by the smell of roasted meat.

The smell reminds me of the Barbeque Party at Hemenez residence where Mrs. Lucia invited me once.

Maybe Hemenez really loves meat- Ranz is also a Hemenez- its no wonder why he's doing this now. 

"Do you plan to starve yourself to death?"  Sabi sa akin ng lalaki na busy sa pagbabaligtad ng mga karne na nasa ibabaw ng  grill.

"Don't bother yourself wasting time- " Tumingin siya sa akin ng naka kunot ang noo na parang hindi nito nauunawaan ang ibig kong sabihin. "Your-being nice to me- " I said frankly.

"No I'm not- " Bumalik ulit ang tingin niya sa karne na luto na ang kabilang bahagi.

"Do not mis interpret this acts of mine- I just needs you to be alive until the month of September." Paliwanag nito habang pinapahiran ng souce ang bawat karne. The smell makes it more delicious and I starts to crave for it but his answer makes me feel defeated.

"Then you'll kill me after that-" I said in a low voice. I wish he did not hear it. I bit my lips. 

"Stop asking and eat-" He said seriously and put some cooked barbeques in my plate.

Oh he heard it.

There was a champagne on ice buckets. There are two empty wine glasses. Maybe I should drink again to lessen the pain I bare. 
 
Papatabain ba niya ako and slaughter me on the month of September? Is this a death sentence I received from him? He is not even the supreme judge.
