Everything's As If We Never Said Goodbye

I woke up a little earlier than usual. I didn't have to get up for another hour but I decided to stay awake. The sun was just beginning to rise. I laid down on the carpet and did some meditation. I've heard that it helps people relax. I felt a little better after I finished my session. I put on some slippers and walked downstairs quietly. I decided to make some breakfast. I baked chocolate chip muffins and blended some fruit for a smoothie. "Something smells good down here," Colin said. "I made my famous chocolate chip muffins," I told him. Colin picked one up and ate it. "You'll have to give me your recipe," he grinned. "We'll see," I said mysteriously. I finished my smoothie and went upstairs to get ready. I washed my face and brushed my teeth in the bathroom before going into my room to decide what to wear. I put on a pair of jeans, a light pink scoop neck sweater with a sequined red heart on it, a red coat, and a pair of red converse. I brushed my hair and sprayed it with hairspray so it wouldn't get ruined. I found a great hairspray a couple years ago that doesn't make your hair stiff. I put on a light perfume and some lip gloss and went downstairs. Colin was wearing a light pink polo shirt. We got in the car and drove to the studio.

Security smiled at us as we walked into the studio. Ryan and Jonathan emerged from their dressing rooms. "Hey guys," I exclaimed hugging them. "You're sure looking cute today," Ryan said. "Thanks," I replied. I went into my dressing room and looked through my mail. I was happy to find a lot of valentines that people sent me. I took the time to write all of them a quick note and attached a signed picture in the envelopes. I gave them to the person who takes care of our fan mail. Drew walked up to us. "We're doing a contest today where one member of the audience gets to go out to lunch with you guys today. The raffle raised money for an organization that is against bullying," he informed us. "That's great. I'm all for it," I smiled. "Today works for me too," Colin, Ryan, and Jonathan replied. "Awesome," Drew said letting the director know that this would be put at the last part of the episode.

Today's episode was super fun. We got to play let's make a date, moving people, sound effects, and scenes from a hat. We definitely used valentines day to our advantage. Then, it was time for the contest winner to be announced. "I would like to thank all of you for helping us support this organization that is against bullying. Together, we can spread the love and keep laughter alive. The audience members who have won lunch with Jennifer, Jonathan, Colin, and Ryan is the person who is in seat B2 and B3," Drew said excitedly. A girl around ten years old and her mom ran over to us. They hugged all of us. The filming stopped and the audience left the studio. The girl looked a little starstruck. "Hi! What's your name?" I asked her. "I'm Lisa," she answered. "That's a pretty name," I said. "I love it so much because you play Lisa on the Saddle Club," Lisa smiled. "It's great that you're a fan. I'm actually meeting up with Keenan and Sophie later today to start recording a new album," I told her. "Really? That's amazing," Lisa exclaimed. Colin, Ryan, Jonathan, and I took photos with them and signed some stuff for them. I grabbed my coat and all of us drove to a restaurant.

We went to a local restaurant that would be appropriate for kids. A waiter gave us a curved booth so we would have enough room for six people. "Can I get you anything to drink?" he asked. "I'll have a hot chocolate please," I answered. The others ordered their drinks. They were brought out quickly. I scanned over the menu. I decided to have the chicken tender basket with fries and fruit. The waiter took our orders. "How old are you?" I asked Lisa. "I'm ten," she answered. "Cool! What kind of stuff are you interested in?" I asked. "I love singing, acting, listening to music, and dancing," Lisa answered. "You're like my mini me," I laughed. "Really? Wow," she exclaimed. "How did you get into comedy?" Lisa's mom asked. "I've always loved watching comedy so I took some improv classes. A spot became available on whose line is it anyway so I auditioned and I got the job," I answered. Our food came. "What has it been like working on the show?" Lisa asked. "It's been great. I get to work with amazing people and there are always lots of laughs," I answered. "Are you happy with the results of the trial?" Lisa's mom asked. Colin, Ryan, and Jonathan gave her a look like "do you really think you should talk to her about that?" "I'm happy with it but let's not talk about that okay," I answered stiffly. The mom rolled her eyes. I was boiling on the inside but I kept a smile on my face for Lisa's sake. After lunch, we said goodbye to Lisa and her mom. I gave Lisa a hug and they left the restaurant parking lot. Ryan put his arm around my shoulder. "I give you a lot of credit for not blowing up in that lady's face," he said. "I wanted to but since the kid was there I didn't. I can't believe she asked me that out of everything she could have asked," I replied angrily. "Forget about her. She's not worth getting upset over," Colin advised. "I'll try," I replied. Colin and I said goodbye to Ryan and Jonathan because I had to get over to the recording studio.

It took us a half hour to get there. "I'll call when I'm done or I'll get a ride if we go out for dinner or something," I told Colin. "Okay. Have fun," he replied. We hugged each other before he left. I walked into the building. Gina met me at the door. I hugged her. "It's so good to see you again," I said. "You too honey.," Gina replied. We got in the elevator and went up to the top floor. I saw two girls my age talking to each other outside the recording room. "Keenan! Sophie," I screamed running towards them. We had a group hug. "How have you been?" Sophie asked. "I've been doing really well thanks," I answered. Gina handed us the lyrics to the songs we were singing together and individually.

We worked with our musical director and producer to learn the songs before we were ready to record. We started off recording our single Undercover Movers and Shakers. It's really upbeat and catchy. My first solo is Diablo. It's about a wild horse running free. Keenan has a song called It's a Lovely Day that really brings out her middle and lower range. The next song we sing together is called L.I.F.E. It's about being happy with yourself. I got the song How I Feel. It's a nice ballad about how it's hard to talk to a crush and make them notice you. Sophie sings a pretty song called Amazing New World. It explains how girls want to explore the world. Keenan's song Season's Colours sounds really pretty with her voice. All of us get to sing Heaven Meets the World. I get to do a cool jazzy part in it.  The next song I got to do is a cute song called Oop Oopee Doop I Love You.  It was kind of hard not to laugh at the words in the beginning.  Keenan did a great job with I Feel So Alive.  Sophie's voice was perfect for Happy Every Day.  I do the lead vocals for an electric song called Stars Tonight.  Finally, we sang a really calm song called Secrets and Dreams.

Keenan, Sophie, and I went out for dinner to catch up.  We had an amazing time.  I missed them so much.  The girls dropped me off at 9:00.  "Did you have a good recording session?" Colin asked.  "It was great," I answered collapsing on the couch.  He laughed.  "Someone's a little tired," Colin observed.  He got me a big glass of water.  I drank it quickly.  "Was it nice seeing your friends again?" Colin asked.  "It was so nice.  It was like we never were apart," I answered.  "That's great," he agreed.  I went upstairs.  I changed into my pajamas, washed my face, and brushed my teeth.  "Goodnight," I said from the top of the stairs.  "Goodnight," Colin replied.  I got in bed and fell fast asleep.

Hey guys!  I hope you like this chapter.  I got it done in one day which is a new record for me.  Thanks for all the support you've given me.  I really appreciate it.  I'm a little sick at the moment.  My tonsils are a little swollen.  Hopefully they don't get infected so I don't have to have them removed.  Have a great day!

Lots of love,

jhorses
