I woke up to a small bump. "We have now arrived in Melbourne," an announcement came over the speakers. Keenan and Sophie woke up. "What did that say?" Keenan asked sleepily. "We're in Melbourne," I answered. "Cool," they replied. I went in the plane's bathroom to get ready. I washed my face and brushed my teeth. I heard that it was supposed to be warm today but since it's midnight I wanted to make sure I was warm enough. I slipped on a pair of jeans, a blue and red plaid shirt, and a dark brown leather jacket. I brushed my long brown hair, sprayed a bit of perfume on myself, and put on some strawberry lip gloss. The other girls got ready and we were prepared to get off the plane. The plane landed and we pulled into an area so we could get out. All of us took our carry on bags and our staff took care of the luggage and equipment we need for the shows. We got in a van and drove to our hotel.
Keenan, Sophie, and I each got our own room which is kind of nice because we'll be spending the whole day with each other. We got our room keys from the hotel's front desk and we went our separate ways. I inserted the key into the door and walked inside. It was a very nice room. There was a queen-sized bed, a small table and chair, a TV, and a small fridge. I saw in the hotel book that room service was available 24/7. I was hungry so I decided to go for it. I pulled out my cell phone and ordered grilled cheese, fries, and a brownie sundae. It was late and I was tired so I really didn't care about eating healthy. The food came soon. The grilled cheese sandwich was so delcious. Fries went well with the cheese. The brownie sundae was amazing for anyone who loves a good chocolate taste. I decided to call Colin since it was around lunch time back home. I pulled out my phone and dialed his number. "Hello?" Colin answered. "Hi Colin it's me," I said. "Did you have a nice flight?" he asked. "It was nice. We had a lot of fun. It's around midnight over here," I informed. "You might get a little jet lagged but just try to go to sleep soon enough. What part of Australia are you in?" Colin asked. "Melbourne," I answered. "That's really cool. I don't want to not keep talking with you but it sounds like you need some sleep," he replied. "You're right. I'll try to call you soon," I told Colin. "Sounds good to me. Bye," he said. "Bye," I replied. We ended the call. I got in bed, turned off the light, and fell asleep.
I woke up to the sound of my phone ringing. "Hello?" I mumbled. "Hi Jennifer! I'm just letting you know that the we're leaving for the interview in five minutes," our travel coordinator said. "Okay bye," I replied ending the call. Keenan, Sophie, and I met outside our rooms and walked outside. There was a big tour bus ready for us. It didn't have The Saddle Club or our pictures on it to have some privacy and to make sure that fans don't know who we are. We boarded the bus with our crew and drove to the interview location. It was set in a park. A woman around the age of forty met us there. "I hope you had a nice trip out here. I'm Mrs. Streamwood and I'll be interviewing you today," she said. "We had a nice flight out here," I replied. We introduced ourselves. The camera crew got ready and we set up on a bench that was big enough for the three of us.
"How did the Saddle Club get started?" Mrs. Streamwood asked as the cameras started rolling. "Bonnie Bryant wrote a book series called The Saddle Club and it became so popular that they wanted to make it into a TV show," I answered. "I understand that each of you had never met before the auditions. "Yes. Sophie and I are from Canada and Jennifer is from the United States. We got to talk a little bit before the audition but a lot of our early friendship was formed when we were taking riding lessons to prepare for the show," Keenan stated. "Did any of you have horse riding experience?" Mrs. Streamwood asked. "Not much. Jennifer rode horses a little bit so she had some experience but we pretty much started learning how to ride from scratch," Sophie answered. "Where was the Saddle Club filmed?" she asked. "It was filmed at a large stable called Pine Hollow right outside Melbourne," I answered. "Cool! Did you guys have to do school work?" Mrs. Streamwood asked. "We had to do school work when we weren't filming. All of us are graduating high school at the end of May," I informed her. "Congratulations! What do your friends think about you being famous?" she asked. "They're very supportive of it but it doesn't affect our friendship," Sophie answered honestly. "That's nice. What are you girls up to now?" she inquired. "The three of us just finished making a new album which will come out in a few days and we'll do a tour around the summer time. I'm now on a show called Whose Line Is It Anyway where we do improv comedy," I answered. "That's incredible. Thank you for for your time," Mrs. Streamwood said getting up. We shook her hand and got on the bus.
"We have a lot of time before the concert. What do you girls want to do?" Gina asked. "Let's go to the Melbourne zoo," I suggested. "Sounds good to me," Keenan and Sophie agreed. We spent a couple hours at the zoo. I love animals so much. At 2:00, we got lunch and went to our concert venue. It was in a big park. A huge stage was set up. We ran up the steps. The view was incredible. We went through the set list and relaxed backstage. The three of us took lots of pictures with each other. A little bit before the show, we got our microphones and waited by the stage to be introduced. It felt great seeing so many people in the audience.
"Please give a warm welcome to Jennifer, Keenan, and Sophie. It's The Saddle Club," the announcer exclaimed. We walked out onto the stage. The audience clapped and screamed. "How are you guys doing?" I asked. The screamed louder. We sang Hello World, On Top of the World, Hey Hey What You Say, Together We Are, Wonderland, Storm, Boogie Oogie Oogie, Dreams Come True, Boys, Friends Forever, and we debuted Secrets and Dreams and Undercover Movers and Shakers. I think this was our best performance yet. The audience screamed, threw flowers on stage, and gave us homemade jewelry. Our fans are the best. We said goodbye and waved before getting off the stage. Keenan, Sophie, and I hugged each other. "This was the best concert ever," Keenan squealed. "That's what I was going to say," I laughed.
We went out for dinner when the fans were gone. It's not that we don't want to meet anyone. We were just extremely tired and jet lagged. I ordered a steak and grilled vegetables. It was really tasty. When we got back to the hotel, the girls and I watched the Lion King. We are all big Disney fans. After the movie, we said goodnight to each other and went into our personal rooms. I got ready for bed and put on my pajamas. I snuggled by way under the covers and turned off the light. I miss everyone but I'm also loving the fact that I can catch up with Keenan and Sophie again. I fell asleep dreaming of home.

It means a lot to me that you care about me. I found out that my tonsils are fine and I just had a throat virus. Now, I have a cold. Congestion is difficult to deal with but I'll be fine. I hope all of you are well. I got to stay home from school yesterday because the wind chill was -25. It was great being able to relax. What is your favorite thing about winter? I love drinking hot chocolate. I used to love sledding but I don't have any snow gear anymore so I can't do that. Thanks for everything!
